I woke up to a loud ringing in my ears. "He broke in! He broke in!" There was a lot of yelling and chaos in the cell block. I stood up quickly and ran to my cell door, except it was missing. I stepped outside my cell and walked over to the door that opened to the rest of the prison, it had been blown off to.

Many bodies lied on the floor, and walls seemed as if they were to crumble in any second. What happened here? Whatever it was I had to leave.

There were too many hallways and doors and I didn't know where to go. I ran to the closest hallway to my right but turned back when I heard approaching soldiers. "Search the area, he has to be close!" The voice echoed through the intersection. Were they looking for Sam?

I went through a door right next to the hallway. It appered to be a maintaince room but it was too big. I searched the room an found another door at the back. I opened the door and silently went through after checking for any guards. This door opened to yet another hallway. I noticed there weren't any windows, so we were probably underground or something. There wasn't any destruction on this side of the building, however.

There was a sound of a metal dropping behind me and I quickly turned. There was no movement so I started to walk back slowly but a hand landed on my shoulder.

I turned and started throwing punches but didn't hit anything. "Hey, hey, it's me." a familiar voice said and I looked up to see Nova hovering in front of me. A mix of emotions started to build inside of me.

I was glad to see him and wanted to hug him but I felt betrayed and Angry. "Fuck off." I said pushing him out of the way and walking past him. "Kimbra, This is no time for jokes." he said in a serious voice.

I turned to him, eyes wide, "When was all this a joke?" I said raising my voice, "Was it a joke for you when we got beat up? huh?" I stopped my yelling and just kept walking. "Kim, I'm sorry, I was just waiting for the right time." he whispered, following close behind. " And you didn't think it was important for me to know it was you all this time?" I asked, walking the never ending hallway.

"If I told you then he wou-" he stopped halfway his sentence. I looked back at him and he was just staring at the end of the hallway. There were multiple voices coming from there.

"Kim, run." Nova whispered. I froze in place still listing at the voices. Many guards soon came running and shooting some sort of laser guns. "Run!" he yelled once again.

I ran as fast as I could for a few yards but the pain in my ribs wouldn't let me go any farther. Sam's arms wrapped around me and he lifted me up. I put my arms around his neck as we flew through the hallways.

We came finally came to a stop, he put me down gently. "Umm.. thank you." I whispered awkwardly. He smiled and nodded. A huge metal door stood in front of us. "Is this the exit?" I asked. "Yeah, but we need something that'll protect you." Sam answered. "Why? aren't we underground or something?" I said. Sam looked at me and chuckled, "or something."

"Is something funny Sam?" I blurted out. "You see, we are not exactly in earth." He responded. Not On Earth. "What?" I yelled. "Shhh... if you want to leave then keep quiet." he insisted. "You are going to explain all this when we're free, understood Sam Alexander." I whispered and pointed at his face. He nodded then grabbed me my the arm and we walked into an empty room.

"I think we lost them." sam said searching the room. "No we didn't, we're just hidding and they'll find us soon." I yelled back. I know it was a very negative remark but it was true.

Sam looked at me in disappointment and went back to pacing back and forth. "I'll make a distraction and you're going to run as fast as you can ok." he said looking at the floor. "What about you?" I asked him. "Don't worry about me, you need to get out of here." He said looking up at me. I sighed then said, "Listen Sam, as much as I hate you right now, I wouldn't be able to live if I knew I left you and something bad happened."

He looked down and said, "But the only way to get you out of here is if I let my self get caught."

"And if you get caught, it will be no time before High Evolutionary comes back and get me." I said. He looked back at me and took off his helmet and wiped the tears from his eyes. I stared into his bright green eyes and he started into mine. I couldn't help it but to run up to him and hug him tight. He wrapped his arms around my waist while I wrapped my arms around his neck.

I felt safe with him, even though we were far from being it.
