Hello!

So from here on now I'll be switching P.O.V's between Sam and Kimbra.

OK.. On with the chapter....

"C'mon keep up!" I yelled back at Sam. We went on a run together and surprisingly I was a whole lot quicker than him. "Slo... Slow down Kim." He panted. Hearing him so tired made me run faster.

I finally reached the bench with our bags and jumped up and down realizing I had beaten a superhero at running. "What happened Sam? I thought you were Nova, the human rocket." I mocked as Sam collapsed on the floor, taking in as much oxygen as possible.

"Ha. ha." He annoyingly replied. I laughed and turned to get my bag. I hung it over my shoulder. "Hey Kim," I turned around to see Sam with his helmet and suit on, "I am the human rocket."

With no warning he wrapped his arms around me, and shot up in the sky. I tightened my grip around his torso hoping not to fall down on the city below.

Even though it was scary I couldn't deny the view, it was perfect. Everything was perfect. I was with  Sam and yes, he might be a busy superhero but it doesn't matter.

We finally landed and Sam put me down slowly. "C'mom let's wash up, I've got something planned." Sam said taking my hand and leading us inside.

I went to Ava's room, where I was currently staying and took a quick shower before going over to Sam's room where he told me to wait for him.

I walked down the busy hallways where agents talked and others being called by  the intercoms around the facility.

I finally reached Sam's room and knocked on his door. I looked around the hall, still full of agents, waiting for Sam to open but there was no response.

Just as I was about to knock again I heard a voice call me from the end of the hall. I turned but there was nobody, no agents no nothing. It was quiet, too quiet.

I walked towards the voice, wondering who had called me. The lights flickered and in that moment I heard that voice. The voice that brought me pain and suffrage.

The voice that makes me wish I were dead.

"Looking for someone?" He asked. I looked for him, searching the place, but he was nowhere to be found. I wanted to find him and end this, even though he could end me first.

A dark shadow finally appeared in front of me. "You're still with that boy." He spoke. "Don't you get it? He only brings you problems. " He said stepping closer to me. His full body was now visible. The purple and silver metallic paint that covered his cold-hearted being, shining under the flickering lights.

I stepped back, realizing that there was no way I could possibly win against this monster. He ignored my movement and moved closer, leaning down just inches away from my face.

"He only brings you pain." He said through gritted teeth and he startlingly grabbed my neck, depriving me from taking in any air. I fought back quickly, trying to pull his hands away from my bruising neck but it was useless against a creature made if pure metal.

My fighting ceased as my surroundings  slowly faded into darkness.

There was a knock on the door and I ran over to answer it, knowing it was probably Kim. I opened it and, like I said, Kim stood there. "You ready?" I asked her. She didn't answer, she just kept looking around the busy hallway.

"Hey, Kim, you alright?" I asked her but instead she quickly snapped her head towards the right side of the hallway. She started to walk down that way bumping into many agents but she sent them flying against the wall like rag dolls.

What is going on?

I followed her, signaling the other agents to move out of the way before they crashed into her. She stopped and looked around frantically before settling her shining eyes into clear space. Kim stood still, not moving her position.

She was standing straight with both arms on her side and her eyes locked on something in the air above. I walked circles around her trying to figure what was going on.

Just as I was about to call Peter and the guys, Kim stepped back defensibly, with a frightened look on her face. I walked closer to her placing my hands on her shoulders. "Kim c'mon. What's going on?" I asked her.

She didn't answer, instead she grabbed both of her hands, placing them over her neck. She wasn't touching her neck she was just holding her hands over it but somehow bruises started to appear as Kim choked to death.

"Kim! Kim! I yelled, pulling her hands away from her. Her eyes started to close and I couldn't let that happen.

Finally her hands gave away and she gasped for air as she fell to the floor. I knelt down beside her sitting her up and holding her close.

Her eyes opened and they landed on me. "Sam." She whispered then launched her self at me, throwing her arms around my neck.

I wrapped my arms tightly around her tiny torso as she sobbed into my shoulder. "He was here. He was here." She repeated between sobs. I pulled away and cleared the tears running down her cheeks, "Who was here?"

She looked down at the floor then back at me, "High Evolutionary, and he wants to kill me."

"Kim, you know I won't let him hurt you." I said. She stood up and yelled, "Well it just happened Sam!" I stood up to apologize for not doing anything sooner. "I'm sorry." I said trying to give her a hug, but she pushed me away and yelled "Don't touch me!"

This shattered my heart. I wanted to grab her and never let go but she pushed me back. Her runny red eyes flared up with anger. "Kim..." She didn't let me finish when she just started to walk away.

"Kim! Wait!" I yelled running after her, but a grip on my arm stopped me. I turned to see Peter and the guys holding me back. "Let her go, I'll talk to her." Ava said stepping forward.

My own eyes were now releasing salty tears as I turned back to see the woman I love, yes Love, walk away from me.
