Moving into a new neighborhood isn't easy, especially if you move halfway across the country . My first few days at Midtown High were great I meet many students that where really friendly with me. There was this one girl, Ava, I believe. She was really outgoing but I could see she was hiding something. She was always hanging out with some guys and they would disappear out of nowhere. These guys looked normal though. One them was super cute. His skin was a very light dark color and this made his green eyes shine brighter. He was the quietest of them.

Where am I going to sit for lunch?

This is the first time I have time to actually eat lunch. I had just a matter of minutes to decide before this class period was over. These past days I've spent my lunch trying to catch up on work for my classes.

"Would you like to eat lunch with us?" a confident voice said behind me . I turned around to see who it was and there he was, the green eyed boy. Guess he wasn't as shy after all. "Yeah, sure!" I respond back gladly. "Are you guys done?" the teacher asks with a big frown on his face. "Sorry." we both respond at once. "What's your name, if I may ask?" he asks quietly, now that the teacher has his eye on us.

"Kimbra, Kimbra Jones," I respond with a whisper, "but my friends call me Kim"

"Kim," he says "I like it ."

"What's yours?" I ask

"Sam Alexander." he responds proudly.

Sam Alexander, I think .. I think I have a crush on him.
