My Brother's Best Friend

"I love you."

-AUDREY'S POV-

Nash and I made it back to the hotel, hugged, and went back in our separate rooms.

I was about to get in the shower, when I saw matt in the bed with his face smashed into the pillow.

"Hey... Matt, are you okay?" I asked, laying down beside him.

He still had his face covered and said,

"Honestly no. Do you know how long I've liked you Audrey? And Taylor was in my way before, and now Nash. You always fall for other boys than me. I love you Audrey, I really so, and it hurts to see you flirting with other guys."

I felt so bad. I started rubbing his back lightly.

"Matt, I'm so sorry. I didn't know how bad that made you feel." I said, still rubbing his back.

He looked over at me. His eyes were puffy and red. I could tell he was crying.

"I love you Audrey."

"I love you too Matt."

We suddenly kissed, then I got up to get in the shower as I planned to do before.

I stayed in the shower just thinking. I looked down at my wrist, I hadn't cut in which felt like forever, and my scars were almost completely gone now.

All I can think about it what Matt had said. I really felt like a terribly person for waiting this long and he is still trying so hard for me.

Next time someone asks me out, unless it is Matt, I'm going to say no. I will wait until Matt asks me out.

I got out, and put sweat pants and a big shirt on that I found in the dresser. I was guessing it was matts since of how big it was.

"Ah, wearing my shirt hey?" Matt said, and I giggled.

"I love your laugh." He told me.

"I love your smile." I told him.

"I love your hair." He said and started to play with it.

"Hey Matt!" I said,

"What?" He asked.

"I love, YOU!" I happily said, pecking his lips.

He blushed.

"So does this mean were together now?" He asked.

"I never heard someone ask me out!" I said and sarcastically pouted.

He bent down on one knee. I started giggling at his funny face.

"Audrey Jo Dallas, will you do the honors of being my lovely girlfriend?" He asked playfully.

"Matthew Lee Espinosa, I will do the honors of having a handsome boyfriend!" I yelled.

He picked me up and spun me around, then threw me on the bed.

He laid next to me, and smiled.

"You better get some sleep princess, tomorrow's our first day of Magcon!" He told me.

'Princess'..... I could get used to that.

I turned over to my side, closed my eyes, and fell asleep.
