-AUDREY'S POV-
"Where am I?" I asked, as I entered a golden palace.
"Your in heaven." A deep voice said.
"God? Is that you?"
"That's me." He said, then smiled.
"What's going on? Why am I here? Am I dead?" I asked, confused.
"No, your not dead. Your in a very long stress coma, and your soul is in heaven." He said.
"Oh. Is there anyone with me right now?"
"No, only a boy named Matt. He has been sitting next to you for two weeks straight, while you are out."
"Has it really been that long? It seems like 5 minutes." I said to him.
"Very funny. Would you like to wake up?" He asked.
"Yes, please." I answered.
"If I send you back down, you must promise me one thing. You must get back together with Matt. I will send good things your way if you do."
I nodded my head, then everything went black.
I squinted my eyes open, to see Matt sleeping in a chair next to me. He looks like he hasn't gotten sleep in so long. And a shower, dang.
I really need to use the bathroom, I thought. I stretched as far as I could, then tapped Matt on the shoulder. He opened his eyes, and jumped up with joy.
"I need to use the bathroom." I told him quietly.
"Oh, Audrey! Your awake! You don't know how depressed I was." He said, hugging me.
"Matt. Bring. Me. To. The. Bathroom." I said, then giggled.
"Well I don't want to unplug the wrong chords, so let me go get the nurse." He said, leaving the room.
Once he came back in the room, a nurse followed him. She unplugged a few chords, then helped me walk, as a machine followed behind me.
I used the bathroom, then she helped me back to my bed. She plugged the chords back then left the room with the door shut.
"How was those 2 weeks, Matt?" I asked him, smiling.
"How do you know it's been exactly 2 weeks?" He asked.
"Well, I don't know if you would believe me, since you didn't last time, but during the coma, my soul went up to heaven, and I was with God."
His eyes went huge.
"Really?"
"Positive." I said, then smiled again.
"Well I'm just so happy you're awake, princess." He said.
"Yeah," I said, "can you hand me that juice box?" I asked, and he did as I told.
" I sipped it, then looked over at Matt, who was just staring at me."
"I broke up with Kenzie.." He said, looking down.
"Why?" I asked, as I put the juice box to the side.
"So we could be together." He said, with his face red like a tomato.
"You did that for me?" I asked, smiling.
He nodded his head, then leaned in for a kiss.
He pressed him lips on top of mine, then let go. He started hugging me.
"MATT GET OFF YOU STINK!!" I yelled.
"NOT UNTIL YOU TELL ME YOU LOVE ME!!" He yelled back.
"Fine! I love you!"
"Say it like you mean it!"
"No!"
"Yes!"
"No!"
"Yes!"
"No--"
I was cut off by his lips on mine, and I smiled, breaking the kiss.
"Okay, I love you." I said, and he kissed my forehead.
"Do you believe in love at first sight?" He asked.
"No, but I believe in having a happy ending with the one your meant to be with." I said, cussing him to smile.
"I believe in both." He said then stood up.
"I'm going to get in the shower, since you said I stink." He said, and I giggled.
Man! I'm so glad god sent me back. And I'm so lucky I'm with Matt.
After a good 10 minutes, Matt walked out, and hung his towel on the door.
"I'm going to see when you are going to get checked out." He said, leaving the room.
I sat in the bed, bored. I looked over, and saw my phone was beside me, so I picked it up and looked at all the text messages.
Laila- Hurry up and wake up.
Nash- It's different without you.
Becca- I miss you.
Taylor- Wake up bestie.
Cameron- Moms home.
"Audrey, your going home in an hour." Matt said, and I nodded my head.
I texted Cameron right away, so that he would know what time I'm coming home.
To: Brother😛
REALLY?!?! I'm coming home in an hour! From: Brother😛
Yay! Your awake! And okay, mom is excited to see you."Matt, my mom's home!" I said, hugging him, "I need to take a shower." I said, informing him that I needed help walking.
He unplugged a few chords, then helped me to the bathroom. In the shower, there was a shower chair, so I could sit down.
I got dressed, then balanced myself, making sure that I was stable.
I walked out, grabbed my phone, and we signed out.
Matt was trying to drive a little faster, knowing that I was excited.
We arrived the house, and I opened the door wide open.
"MOM!!!!"
