Alec headed over to Magnus's apartment with a grin, excited to see him again. Moments away from Magnus were so boring, and even just being in his presence was something that Alec cherished. The way he talked, the messy locks atop of his head, the way his teeth sank into his lip when he looked at Alec during sex. Alec knew he had feelings for Magnus deep down, but wasn't going to admit them.

Magnus told Alec they were going to his friend's house to return Ru, but hadn't yet said what that friend was called. Magnus seemed to like the element of surprise. "I'm sure going to miss her," Magnus said with a small frown as he handed Ru over to Alec so that he could drive, putting the key in the ignition and turning it.

Alec smiled, "I'm sure she'll miss you too. She's not dying, though, she's just going back to her owner. Oh, I forgot to say, my mom bought me a puppy the other day!" Magnus turned to him with a gasp, his eyes lit up like a child on Christmas morning. "Really?" Magnus asked with a grin, Alec nodding his head, trying to ignore the wave of feelings he got at Magnus' smile.

"You will definitely be showing me he or her when we get back," Magnus said as he began to drive away, Alec agreeing with a giggle. The drive to Magnus' friends house wasn't too long, Magnus and Alec talking about dogs the entire way there. Magnus admitted to being a cat person, but puppies melted his heart.

The two of them started to walk up the apartment corridor, Alec's finger stroking against Ru's soft face the entire time. "My friend is called Luke, and he's very friendly. Doesn't look like he'd own a tiny kitten, as he kind of looks like a ripped superhero. But, he's a sweetheart." Magnus told Alec, Alec letting out a small laugh.

"Have you had sex with him?" Alec asked nonchalantly, his eyes flickering around the hallways in interest. Magnus scoffed and shook his head, "Definitely not. I've known him since I was seven, and he's as straight as a person in 2017 can be." Alec smiled widely, the image of Magnus being seven popping up in his head. Alec was sure he was adorable back then, maybe even more adorable than he was now.

Magnus knocked on the door, a few seconds later the door swinging open. A smiling face looked down at Magnus, the eyes then flickering to Alec who was still holding Ru. "Hey, Luke. This is Alec, my . . . friend." Alec smiled at Luke confidently, handing the small kitten back to him.

"Nice to meet you, Alec. The amount of friends of Magnus I've met is quite extraordinary; he sure does get around." Luke said with a lighthearted laugh, Alec letting out a loud laugh as he turned to look at Magnus. "Luke, please! Stop embarrassing me in front of the pretty boy, he already knows I'm a slut." Magnus said, his cheeks tinted red, even though his tone was joking.

Luke asked if they wanted to come in, both of them agreeing with a grin. "Got any ladies here?" Magnus asked as he peered around the apartment, seeing that it looked the exact same as the last time he was invited around. Luke laughed as he put Ru down on the floor, "Not yet; still just a lone wolf. Although, there is this girl at work who is really attractive and keeps flirting with me."

Magnus flopped down on the sofa like it was his own home, "What's her name? I've probably already banged her." Luke rolled his eyes, Magnus letting out a giggle, Magnus patting the space beside him for Alec to sit down in, which he did.

"She's called Jocelyn, and I don't think she's like that. Very classy and sophisticated, and Maia said that she has a daughter in her class who's very nice." Luke said, opening his cupboards for food to please Magnus. Alec turned his head to look at Luke, "Maia Roberts?" Luke grabbed a packet of crisps and threw them at Magnus, nodding his head, "Yeah, my adopted daughter. You know her?"

Alec smiled, "She's friends with my siblings, but I've spoken to her a lot. She's a very kind girl." Magnus ripped the bag open obnoxiously loud, offering Alec a crisp, to which he denied. Luke smiled, "She really is. I'm a police officer, and I found her in the woods one day. Poor thing had been abandoned by her family, and she was only three-years-old. No matter how badly she's been treated, she's always kind to others. I admire her."
