Surprisingly they didn't keep Dean in the hospital for long they released him within a week. Sam wanted to stay home from school but their mom forced him to go saying she was able to take of Dean by herself. Sam left for school leaving Dean on the couch, Mary left to the kitchen to make Dean some food. He eventually found his phone smiling when he found Cas' number he read through the messages the last one being
'Dean that was amazing' -C
It all started to come back, him and Cas went on a date to a street fair out of town and on the way back a driver swerved onto their side of the road causing Dean to dodge him and crash. He was pulled out of his thoughts when his mom put her hand on his shoulder handing him a sandwich kissing his forehead before leaving him alone again.
'Hey' -DW
'Hey sleeping beauty' -C
'How are you' -DW
'Beside my casted arm I'm pretty good, how are you? Must be feeling pretty crazy after being out for so long' -C
'Little difficult trying to remember everything that happened' -DW
'When can I see you?' -C
'Why don't you get the bus with Sammy after school?' -DW
'Sammy? As in Sam Winchester ?' -C
'That's him' -DW
'Yah I know him, your brother needs a haircut' -C
'THATS WHAT IM SAYING !' -DW
'Haha see you after school' -C

  "Mom a friends coming over after school"
He yelled taking a bite of his sandwich Mary walked into the living room putting her hand through Deans hair.
"You've missed a lot of school Dean. You should be catching up not having friends over"
Dean looked up at her swallowing the food in his mouth
"He's coming over to help"
Mary smiled moving hair from his face
"Alright as long as you get somethings done. You'll be back in school tomorrow and I don't want you falling behind"
He nodded going back to his sandwich.

   Dean was asleep on the couch when Sam and Cas walked in,
"You must be Deans friend. I've made a snack if you'd like to eat while he sleeps."
  Cas smiled and followed her and Sam to the kitchen. Shortly after Dean woke up walking to the kitchen stretching, Cas was alone sitting there doing homework. Dean put his arms around Cas' waist kissing his neck laying his head in his shoulders. He moved away sitting down next to Cas observing what he was doing then looking up to meet his eyes forming a grin on his lips.
Cas looked away picking up his pencil and going to a paper writing
'I've missed you'
  Reading it the freckled boy smiled putting his hand on Cas knee leaning in to softly kiss him. After everything that's happened it's been hard to sort through his real memories and coma memories but with Cas it all came so natural. He didn't feel the pressure of everyone else watching his every move. He just felt like his old self.
Cas stayed for a couple hours after Mary made sure he helped Dean with school work then went home, the Winchester brothers went to bed around midnight after a gaming marathon with Charlie.

The two rushed out the door in their usual flannel and jeans, Dean grabbed his keys to the Impala lightly closing the door behind him. Last night Charlie left early and while Dean and Sam were gaming Dean confided to Sam about his coma dreams, it helped a lot to be able to speak about it. Sam helped fill in the blanks that Dean couldn't remember, now he felt a little more put together.
  The semester changed while Dean was away, him and Sam had a class together and then two were with Cas and lastly he had tech class with Charlie. His locker and spot in detention were the only unchanged things.
  First class was history with Cas and lucky he came at just the perfect time...a class project. Something about a founding father? Cas had said he's on the ten dollar bill actually he also said to Dean that he and the Alex guy have some things in common. The last few minutes of class everyone was up talking, the teacher was on her phone so Dean opened the window and jumped out because they were on the first floor not far from the ground. Cas hung out the window not to bring attention to him while Dean lit a cigarette.  The bell rang, putting the smoke between his lips Dean reached up helping Cas climb out of the window laughing a little at how innocent Cas was.
"So when am I gonna get to sign that thing"
Dean gestured to the cast on Cas' arm bringing a soft smile to the ravened hair boy. Cas reached in his bag for his black marker handing it to Dean,
'10:21pm. DW'
Dean looked down smiling in satisfaction handing Cas marker back to him. Cas read it giving him a confused looked which Dean understood answering the unasked question.
"time of our first kiss"
Dean said tossing his smoke to the ground. Cas moved closer leaning up on his toes to kiss him pulling away hovering over his lips feeling each other's hot breath hit their lips. The taste of cigarettes and mint gum mixed in their mouths. Nervously Cas looked around scared someone may of seen them. Dean didn't care, he was openly bi and really nobody had the balls to bully him because they knew he'd kick their teeth in.
"What's wrong ?"
Dean looked around then back at Cas who seemed ashamed, shaking his head no he nervously walked away going to class leaving a confused Dean. Halfway through Deans last class Bobby called to which he answered not caring that he was in school.
"Mhm. Mhmm. Ah what! No way, thanks. Yah I'm on my way"
Dean got up collecting his things
"And were may you be going Winchester"
"Look ma'am. I told you to stop calling me Winchester. Its Dean."
Before the teacher could get another word in Dean walked out of the class room the teacher yelling at him to return from down the hall but of course Dean just ignored her.

He made it to Bobby's in enough time to grab a beer, talk, finish fixing up his bike that Bobby had mostly fixed up for him and drive back to school to pick up Cas.

  Cas was walking to his lockers looking out the windows only to be interrupted by his phone.
'Were going on an adventure, I'll pick you up' -DW
