Cas turned over to face a sleeping Dean in his bed, he tried to fight it off but ended up turning around sneezing which woke Dean up. He rubbed his sleepy eyes releasing a yawn and talked through the yawn
"h-hey"
Cas smiled admiring how peaceful the scenario was and to his surprise Dean cuddle close to him his head on Cas chest.
"When did you get here ?"
Cas spoke in a whisper tone running his fingers through Deans gentle bedhead.
"After I called you"
Cas sighed
"You skipped classes didn't you"
"It's no big deal"
Dean protested but to no prevail
"You've already missed so much..."
The tone of his voice brought worry to Dean, immediately he moved to look at Cas putting a hand to the side of his face Cas leaning into the touch.
The two spent the rest of the day in bed talking about school, their future, hopes and dreams, they each confided in each other. Cas still spoke in a whisper but Dean was just glad he was speaking, it was a start and there was no reason to rush they had all the time in the world.
Cas stayed home again today but he inforced it on Dean to attend, he left Cas' early enough to get a change of clothes and take Sam to school along with himself. Dean as per usual smoked before going into the school, Sam left meeting up with Jess. The bell rang but again as per usual he was in no hurry to get to class, dragging out the last of his smoke he threw it to the ground. Some girls were walking by talking fairly loud about some gossip Dean didn't intent on listening but when he heard Cas' name he was intrigued. It wasn't hard to not heard what they were saying because of how loud they were
"Meg and some guy who goes here "Castiel"
"what a weird name"
"wait, the Winchester's Castiel?!"
"Yep"
"and he slept with Meg?"
"yep"
"how do you know"
"she told me herself, with detail "
The girls shared a 'ooo' before giggling and leaving ear range. Dean stood in shock the only reasonable thing being to pull another smoke out but he was empty. He shook it off, Cas wouldn't do that to him. He trusted him enough to not consider the idea of him doing such, but it still dug at the back of his head throughout the rest of the day. On his way to work he came to the conclusion that when Cas came in at the end of his shift today he'd mention the 'gossip rumour' and he'd mention how ridiculous it was. The remainder of Deans shift seemed to drag on forever, Ellen was on mat leave which got him more shifts at the garage but also made Ash the manager here-at the restaurant- while she was gone. Jo was really excited to finally have a sibling and Dean felt happy to add another member to the family and happy for Ellen and Bobby, the whole baby in the bun thing really brought a happy vibe to Bobby's which benefited the hours at the garage and the attitude here at the roadhouse.
Hanging up his apron he gathered his things walking out to find Cas at a booth, Dean told Jo and Ash that Cas would be coming in at closing hours which of course they were okay with. Sliding in the booth next to him Dean captivated Cas smile in a soft kiss immediately being giving the same action, a little tone of aggressiveness added in causing their lips to stay locked. Cas hand moved up on Deans chest slightly gripping some of his shirt in his fist until he pushed away breaking the kiss. Dean slid out of the booth extending his hand for Cas who smilingly put his hand in Deans getting up as well. He led them to the kitchen where he made them something to eat Cas walked over sitting while Dean turned off the lights the only lighting being candles on the table.
"Tell me about you day"
Cas nodded and started to tell him about how happy he was when he found the candies and tylenol, how quiet it was with Anna in school and a bunch of other small thing, Dean watched him listening inventively to each word happy to hear it all even the small things. After they finished Dean cleaned up and met Cas outside at the Impala, locking the doors he walked up to him placing his hands on Cas hips kissing him, Cas' hands moved up to Deans face.

It had been three full days until Cas was finally able to go to school. Cas was at the picnic tables waiting for Dean-who texted saying he'd be late-when Charlie came up to him. She seemed pissed.
"You seem distressed?"
Cas had of course grown to speaking around his best friend Charlie. She sat down replying
"Did you sleep with Meg?"
He seemed taken back by her statement
"...Charlie"
Her shoulders dropped a look of disappointment on her face
"Ahh, Cas no...when?"
"l-last month at the party...I was drinking and she...and I...but it wasn't..."
"So Dean was in a coma and you slept with someone...does he know?"
Cas shook his head no feeling the guilt sink it
"It didn't mean anything"
"Cas...if he hears this from someone else it'll crush him. He deserves to know."
The smell of cigarette drew in causing them to look in the direction of Dean who was approaching them with a smile. Charlie stood up hugging Dean before going into the school.
"Oh hey there was something I wanted to mention last night"
Deans said as he took a seat across from Cas who tried to hide his now sad state with a fake happy one. He replied with a hum signalling for him to go on.
"Its funny actually. Some girls were talking and they said you and some Meg chick had slept together, obviously I know you wouldn't which is what makes it f-"
Cas cut him off
"I did...."
At first he seemed more confused than hurt only saying a simple
"What?"
Cas couldn't bring himself to look up and make eye contact. He watched Deans lips
"...I slept with Meg"
