Chapter 3: Getting there

Chapter 3:

Leon walks in shirtless, wiping his face off with a towel before slinging it over his shoulders. He spots you blocking Cloud's attacks, thrusting your sword before you as you grunt, using all of the force you can to throw him off and attack. Cloud raises his weapon, but you slip behind him and point your sword at his neck. Slowly, Cloud spins around and knocks you back with the hilt of his sword and points his weapon at you.

"You're getting there!" Cloud says happily.

"I've gotta say, _____, you're not half bad...for an amateur." Leon says as he holds out a hand to help you up.

You stare at him for a moment (wow he's got GREAT abs!) before gripping his hand and letting him pull you up. You smile at him and brush off the beads of sweat that now cover your face. After four hours of intense training, you now understand the basics, but you still have so much to learn! Exhausted, you fall back onto a chair and close your eyes, your head tilted back. You can hear the voices of the two boys as they argue over whether or not you need extra workouts and practices. Cloud, of course, thinks they should take it easy on you, while Leon thinks you need A LOT more work. Either way, you're just glad you didn't fail too miserably...though you did squeal a few more times after having more of Cloud's surprise attacks, and you fell on your butt once or twice, and you tried to run away from Cloud when he used a more advanced tactic...

"But I'll get way better, I just know it!" you exclaim as Cloud and Leon give you confused looks. "Uhhh...just talking to myself..." you say as you turn a bit red. Leon rolls his eyes. Cloud looks mildly amused.
