Chapter 1:
You follow Leon, staring in awe at the beautiful interior of the building, until you accidentally bump into his back.
"Clumsy..." Leon mutters under his breath.
It's true though. You always were a bit clumsy.
"_____, this is my old friend Cloud. Cloud, this is General Goodlocke's daughter, _____."
"Ah, so you must be my mortal enemy, then." The spiky-haired blonde says with a grin.
"Waah!? I...wait. Whaaattt??" you stammer as Leon slaps his hand over his face.
Cloud chuckles. "Admiral Collins is my father. But don't worry; I broke free from the man years ago. What a tyrant!" he exclaims throwing his hands in the air for effect.
"Anywho..." Leon interrupts. "Cloud and I are going to be your trainers. If you're going to survive, you'll have to learn a thing or two to protect yourself. After all, we might not be there to protect you when you're in danger."
"I've got no problem with that," Cloud says. "She's a cutie."
Leon snorts in sarcastic laughter. "Don't be so quick to say so. I swear I can't get her to shut up! You can take your chances with this little pest here."
"Fine then," Cloud states. ____, I'd be delighted to train you. Let's leave this downer to practice alone."
As Cloud places an arm around your shoulder, Leon flinches. You take one last glance at him before walking off with Cloud, whose arm is still rested on you. Leon frowns as he watches you go. He shakes his head and turns around to head towards the weight room, trying to get you out of his head. "Snap out of it, Leon." He says to himself.
