Chapter 17: You are a cinema

Chapter 17:

You couldn't stop thinking about your first date (was that what it was?) with Leon and you had stared at the clock all day waiting for each bell to ring. Yuffie finally noticed how eager you had been to leave your classes and when she saw you glancing at the clock in art class she gave you a suspicious look.

"Alright, what's going on, ________?" she asked you bluntly. "I can tell something's on your mind. Spill."

"Huh?" you said, giving her a shocked look. Yuffie gave you a stern glare.

"Well...I guess I might just be looking forward to going to the movies with Leon today after school..." you trailed off, returning to the clock-staring trance you had been in previously.

Yuffie's face transformed into a grin. "OH. MY. GOSH! YOU TWO ARE FINALLY GOING OUT!" she shrieked.

Zack, Roxas, and Terra whipped their heads toward the overly-excited girl and finally rested their eyes on you, quizical looks plastered onto their faces. "Who's going out with who, now?" Terra inquired.

"________ AND--" Yuffie was cut off as you placed a hand over her mouth.

"Yuff, it's not even a date, I don't think..." you interrupted.

"Who are you going on a date with?" Roxas asked a bit mournfully.

"I'm just going to the movies with Leon," you explained. Terra and Roxas looked a bit dejected but Zack merely patted you on the back.

"Finally!" he said. "I thought he would never make a move on you!"

You blushed and looked down at your hands. "Zack...it's not a date."

"Then what would you like to call it?" he smirked, crossing his arms.

"An intimate get together?" you guessed, giggling. (If you watch Phineas and Ferb, you'll get it ;) )

"Call it whatever you like," he laughed. Roxas frowned but Terra kept his composure as Yuffie gushed about how she wanted your wedding to be decorated. You simply ignored her as Yuffie could get carried away at times.

You had endured the rest of the school day and as soon as the final bell rang, you noticed Reno was walking in front of you. He must have sensed that you were behind him because he glanced back at you and gave you a nod, as if reaffirming what he had said to you yesterday as you two had walked home.

You had returned home and greeted Cloud and Tifa before taking a shower and blow drying your hair. As you walked into your room, your towel wrapped around your body, you jumped in shock and screamed as you saw that a person was sitting in your room.

"Calm down, _________!" the person said. "It's me, Yuffie!"

"Yuff, you're my friend and all but WHY AND HOW ARE YOU IN MY ROOM?!" you demanded.

"That's a really funny story," Yuffie chuckled. "See, I climbed through the window and---"
