Shopping and cuddles
Wednesday after school Veronica took Betty and Kevin to the mall. Once the forty minute ride to the nearest mall was over, Veronica told her driver to come over later and they started walking into stores.
They went into many stores until Veronica finally found the perfect dress, it was a black dress with glitter on it. Betty found one that was white and showed her shoulders and brought out her eyes
"I love it" Kevin squealed and took a pictures of the two girls
"Alright go change and we can go get lunch" he rushed them over back in the change rooms and waited outside for them.
Once they finally paid, they went to get lunch
"So have you asked Joaquin to come with you yet?" Veronica said before buying off her sandwich
"You should before Moose keeps telling everyone that you are his date" Betty rolled her eyes as she finished her sentence
"He is actually meeting my dad on Friday" Kevin says casually and takes a sip of his soda
"He is? How did your dad react? Does he know he is from the South side?"
Veronica burst out the questions
"Let him answer" Betty chuckled
"Thank you" Kevin looked at Betty "we will have dinner at my house, my dad was fine with it and no, he doesn't know he is from the south side yet"
As the three friend started heading to the parking lot, Kevin got a call
'Hello?'
'Hey Kev, I won't be home for dinner, I'll see you later alright?'
'Sure. what happened?' Kevin asked his dad
'Jason's case is getting worse as the time goes by'
'Alright, don't worry I'll see you later. Take care'
'You too. Bye'
Kevin hung up and catched up to the girls. They drove Kevin home and they left to Veronica's house. Kevin walked into his empty house and went to take a shower. When he came out his phone started vibrating
'Hi' he said
'Hey preppy, you at home?'
'Yeah, I am. Why?
'Alone?'
'Dad is working late'
'I'll be there in five minutes' Joaquin said and hung up.
Kevin went to his room and got a white shirt out with grey sweat pants, he dried himself and got dressed. He went into the washroom to fix his messy hair after he dried it with the towel, after a few minutes the doorbell rang and he went to open the door.
"Hey preppy" Joaquin smirked entering the house and taking his boots off
"Hi" Kevin closed the door and pulled Joaquin into a small kiss
"Come" Kevin cheered and dragged Joaquin up the stairs
"I missed you" Joaquin said as he sat on Kevin bed
"It was only a day without seeing me" Kevin chuckled
"That's twenty four hours, even more, without seeing you" Joaquin smirked when he saw Kevin blushed at the comment
"It missed you too" Kevin sat beside Joaquin
"So why are you here today?"
"It don't know what to wear on Friday to meet your dad" Joaquin sighed and took his leather jacket off
"Do you have a button up shirt? You can wear that and jeans I guess" Kevin smiled and moved to sit criss-cross on the top of the bed
"It have that, I'm nervous"
"Don't be, he will love you, don't worry"
"I'll trust your word" Joaquin started crawling towards Kevin.
Once he was close to Kevin, he started kissing his neck and moving towards his lips, pulling Kevin into a soft kiss, Joaquin pulled away and sat beside Kevin
"Tease" Kevin coughed under his breath as he started laughing
"I am not" Joaquin looked at Kevin
"Oh. Yes you are" Kevin smirked as he moved on top of Joaquin sitting on his lap with his legs on both side of Joaquin's. Kevin wrapped his arms around Joaquin's neck as Joaquin placed his arms on kevin's hips pulling him closer.
Kevin looked into Joaquin's blue eyes and smiled, Joaquin smirked back and pulled Kevin in for a kiss, Kevin ran his fingers trough Joaquin's silky black hair deepening the kiss, Joaquin started moving his hands to Kevins tummy and started drawing circles with his fingers which made Kevin smile in between the kisses.
Joaquin liked teasing Kevin so he started tickling him until Kevin broke in laughter and tried pulling away from Joaquin "where are you going preppy?" Joaquin smirked, Kevin fell on his back leaving Joaquin on top of him as he continued tickling Kevin.
Joaquín couldn't help but laugh away Kevins reaction of being tickled he started kicking and laughing until tears were coming out of the corner of his eyes. Finally Joaquin stopped and sat in front of Kevin who was still trying to catch his breath.
Kevin crawled closer to Joaquin and rested his head on top of Joaquin's tights "I haven't laughed like that in years" Kevin mumbled "me neither" Joaquin said while he started playing with Kevin's hair. Joaquin moved down so he was laying down and facing Kevin.
Kevin reached out to move Joaquin's hair out of his face and started moving his thumb against Joaquin's cheekbones.
Joaquin smiled and pulled Kevin into a hug.
"So Kevin" Joaquin broke the silence after a few minutes
"Yeah?"
"Well. I have a question for you"
Joaquin got up from the bed as Kevin sat up and looked at Joaquin with a curious face
"Would you go to your homecoming dance with me?" Joaquin blushed as he pulled out a small paper bag and handed it to Kevin sitting in front of him
"It's not fancy but.." Joaquin started saying but Kevin had pulled him into a kiss not letting him finish his sentence.
They pulled awat after a few minutes "thank you" Kevin smiled brightly "well, open it" Joaquin said smiling at Kevin.
Kevin found some chocolate bars and envelopes, he took everything out carefully the envelopes were letters labeled as 'read when' Kevin smiled and brought Joaquin into another kiss which lasted longer.
"So Kevin... do you wanna be my date to your homecoming dance?" Joaquin blushed and looked at Kevin
"Yes, yes I do" Kevin smiled and put his letter and chocolate bars in the bag and out it inside his drawer "I really love what you did" Kevin said hugging Joaquin "no one has ever done something like that for me"
Kevin hugged Joaquin even tighter.
Joaquin was happy Kevin had liked his present, they lied down and cuddled for a couple of more minutes until Joaquin's phone rang "they can leave a text" he said nuzzling his face into Kevin's chest
"You should check it" Kevin kissed Joaquin's forehead and sat on the bed. Joaquin checked his phone 'hey kid I need you a t the bar in half hour, sorry to break your date' It was a text from FP
"I'm sorry preppy, FP needs me for some reason" Joaquin out his jacket back on and put his phone back on his pocket
"I will see you tomorrow after school okay?" Joaquin went to Kevin and hugged him
Kevin walked downstairs with Joaquin
"I'll see you tomorrow" Kevin said as Joaquin put his boots on getting ready to go outside "bye preppy" Joaquin smiled and pulled Kevin into and quick kiss before opening the door and walking outside.
