Joaquin headed out of Kevin's house and started walking to the Southside.
Once he crossed the tracks that divided the town he went to his trailer trying to avoid as many people as possible. He put his school bag aside and took a quick shower, he put on his black sweatpants and a white shirt, he put the clothes he borrowed from Kevin at a side, he would have to do the laundry later that week.
He grabbed another shirt putting it on a bag with his camera. Joaquin headed back to his room and grabbed a black hoodie putting it on as well as his black boots and walked out of his trailer.
When Kevin heard the doorbell he jumped off his bed smiling and headed downstairs, he opened the door "hey Kev" Moose said standing with his hands on his pockets "what are you doing here Moose?" Kevin said leaning against the door crossing his arms "may I come in?" Moose asked with a smirk.
Kevin rolled his eyes but Moose had already walked in without permission. Kevin closed the door "what is it? I have a homework to finish" Kevin leaned his back against the closed door
"I wanted to apologize" Moose started saying.
The words made Kevin surprised, since Moose never apologized, he always got what he wanted, there was no way around that.
"Look, I really like you, and I love when we fool around" Moose started walking towards Kevin, holding his waist with one hand while the other traced the boys jawline "don't you feel the same" Moose whispered getting closer to Kevin's lips.
The two boys made eye contact and stood close in silence, Kevin shook his head "Moose I can't keep doing this, some days you want to fool around and other days you just" Kevin walked away from Moose and headed to the living room "Moose this isn't working out okay?"Kevin said as he stood beside the couch
"what do you mean?" Moose approached Kevin walking into the living room
Kevin took a deep breath "listen, it was great doing" Kevin looked at Moose "whatever that was" Kevin paused taking a sighting "but I don't like you, like that, anymore"
Moose moved in closer to Kevin, "Kev, you are confused" Moose chuckled "you do like me" Moose said as he grabbed Kevin's jawline
"No. I don't" Kevin put his hands on Moose's chest pushing him away
"I don't like you Moose, we should just end things here, as friends"
Moose frowned and then smirked "we are not finishing things, Keller"
Moose grabbed Kevin's waist leaning in to kiss Kevin "stop Moose" Kevin said as he pushed him away.
Moose grabbed Kevin's arm pulling him close "why do you want to end things" Moose questioned, Kevin put his head down "Moose, please, I just" Kevin "I will see you Monday at school"
Kevin said without making eye contact with Moose "I'm going to win you back Keller" Moose reached for Kevin's jawline before walking out of the house "you are going to run back to me" Moose said kissing Kevin on the lips and walking out.
Joaquin was walking back to Kevin's house, once he was near his house, he saw a familiar face walking by, it was the guy that had kissed Kevin, Joaquin put his head down and kept on walking to Kevin's street.
He waited outside after knocking on Kevin's door, he put his hands on his hoodie's pocket. Kevin opened the door to let Joaquin come in.
"Are you okay? Joaquin hugged Kevin, "yeah, he is gone" Kevin said as he started walking upstairs, Joaquin followed him, he left his bag pack on the floor beside the window in Kevin's room "what happened?" Joaquin said looking at Kevin.
Kevin turned around closing his bedroom door "well" Kevin started saying "he came over, and when he tried to get close to me" Kevin sighed "I told him I didn't like him and we should end things as friends but he said he would win me back and he thinks I will run back to him" Kevin said sitting on his bed, Joaquin nodded
"I have known him since I was little, but I really can't do this, I will talk to him on Monday" Kevin laid down on his bed.
"Do you have homework?" Joaquin asked sitting on Kevin's bed "no, I finished everything" Kevin smiled looking at Joaquin "come here" Kevin said extending his arms towards Joaquin.
