Chocolates and flowers
Kevin woke up early that Monday morning to get ready for school, he didn't want to go to school, he wanted to go and meet Joaquin somewhere, the past two days had been so much fun, he loved hanging out with him.
Kevin got ready, putting his blue jeans, a purple shirt, he went to the kitchen to make his lunch, his dad was heading out to the station soon, "morning" his dad said as he walked into the kitchen "hey dad" Kevin started to make a sandwich, his dad grabbed a portfolio from the table "I will be late tonight but I will see you tomorrow morning, I think they have new leads about Jason's murder" Kevin nodded "alright I'll see you tomorrow morning, be safe" his dad waved and headed outside the house, Kevin finished making his sandwich and went upstairs to brush his teeth he looked at the mirror one more time before heading out to school.
He put his blue jacket on and started walking to school, it was cold outside, so he tried to walk fast. Once he got to school he headed towards his locker quickly to take some books for his classes, he walked in saying hi to a few people and sitting on his desk, he went trough his classes quiet which was unusual and distracted, he wanted to see Joaquin soon. He pulled his phone out in the middle of class during a work period and texted Joaquin
*i miss you, see you soon?* Kevin went back to work and then his phone vibrated on his back pocket he pulled his phone out again,
*when are you free?* Joaquin had texted back, *after school? I have lunch soon I will call you then* Kevin put his phone away and tried to finish the work that was assigned, the bell rang and people headed to the cafeteria, Kevin met Betty and Veronica at Archie's locker, Jughead was already there so they decided to eat on the benches outside since it was too crowded inside.
They walked outside, it wasn't as cold as it was in the morning so they all sat down and started talking about their day, Kevin tried to quickly finish his sandwich he made early that day, once he was finished while Veronica and Jughead discussed something Kevin turned to Betty "hey I will be back I just have to make a quick phone call" Betty smiled "everything okay?" She asked "yeah I will be back" Kevin walked away from where they were sitting, he went behind a couple of trees so that his friends wouldn't see him, he opened his phone and started to dial Joaquin's number when someone pocked his shoulder, he hanged up and turned quickly just to realize that it was Joaquin "oh gosh what are you doing here?" Kevin asked surprised, putting his phone in his pocket "I though you wanted to see me" Joaquin chuckled "I thought we were meeting after school" Kevin smiled at Joaquin, "well I wanted to give you this" Joaquin pulled a small box from the inside of his jacket, it was a plain brown box with a white thread tied around it making a bow on the top of the box, "thank you, what is it?" Kevin asked holding the box, he couldn't stop smiling he looked at Joaquin, "open it, I don't know if you'll like it but I hope you do" Kevin started undoing the bow and opening it slowly and delicately, once he opened the box there were 3 chocolates and a piece of paper that said 'you are the cutest person I have met' Kevin read the paper and he was smiling so much, this was the most thoughtful thing someone has done for him, "do you like it?" Joaquin said nervously scared he wouldn't like it "Is not something big but I think" Kevin interrupted Joaquin by kissing him softly on the lips, he pulled away after a few seconds, "I really like it, Thank you Joaquin" Joaquin smiled, he was glad to see that Kevin liked it, Kevin put the paper back in the box and putting it in his jacket so that no one would ask about it, Joaquin grabbed Kevin's waist pulling him closer to him "will I see you after school?" Asked Kevin giving Joaquin a forehead kiss and putting his arms around Joaquin's neck "I will meet you here" Joaquin smiled at Kevin kissing him again on the lips, the kissed lasted a few minutes, with Joaquin pulling Kevin in closer when he pulled his coat.
Kevin hugged Joaquin after they pulled away for air "you should go, I don't want people to be worried about you" Joaquin let go of Kevin's coat "I will see you after school" Kevin quickly said as he kissed Joaquin on the lips again quickly .
Kevin walked to where his friends were, Veronica was still arguing with Jughead about something while Archie and Betty laughed, Kevin sat back down "everything alright?" Asked Betty, "yeah just my dad is working late" Betty nodded and they went back into the conversation. Kevin kept going to his classes and trying to finish work without thinking on Joaquin, once the end of the school bell rang he sprinted into his locker to leave some books he wouldn't need, he saw Betty on his way out, she asked if he wanted to hang out but he told her he would be busy doing homework but that he'll hang out with her other day, he knew lying was bad, but he really liked Joaquin, he walked fast but trying to not call attention of anyone, he went back to the trees where he had seen Joaquin at lunch, Joaquin was standing there holding a bouquet of daisies, once he saw Kevin his face lit ip, giving Kevin a smile, Kevin walked toward Joaquin and have him a quick peck on the lips, "are those for me?" He asked biting his lip and looking at Joaquin, "yes they are" Kevin chuckled "so where are we going?" Asked Joaquin while Kevin put his bag on the grass to tie his shoe, "well we could go to my house since my dad will be home late tonight" Kevin finished tying his shoe and when he got up his bag wasn't on the floor anymore, Joaquin had take it and put it on his back, he gave the flowers to Kevin "wherever you want to go, I just want to be with you" Kevin blushed when Joaquin said this "okay let's go to my house" Kevin walked to the back of the school since he didn't wanted anyone to see him with Joaquin, he took Joaquin's hand to walk faster thought the few people, Kevin had put the hoodie of his jacket on and he lead Joaquin to his house, Joaquin carried Kevin's bag and Kevin kept giving Joaquin surprise kisses on the cheek to whenever he wasn't looking.
