school and dinner
Once Veronica left Kevin headed to his room, he didn't like when his dad was out of town, he didn't like being alone.
Kevin changed into his pyjamas and got his bag pack ready for the next day and went to bed.
The next morning Kevin woke up before his alarm he couldn't fall back to sleep so he deleted the alarm from his phone and headed downstairs, he didn't want to spend the money the sheriff had left so he made a sandwich, he had cereal for breakfast and headed upstairs.
He got changed into the jeans from the day before a grey collar shirt and a red jacket. He grabbed his stuff and headed outside, there was a car parked on his drive way, he headed knocking the window slowly, the window rolled down,it was Veronica "hey, get in"
Kevin went to the passenger's seat and got in the car "hey what are you doing here?" Kevin said happily since he didn't want to walk to school that morning, he put his seatbelt on as Veronica talked "I thought I might give you a ride and maybe we could talk about tonight's plan for the fair" Veronica started driving taking the long way to the school. "Well Joaquin is coming to the house around four thirty, I guess I will make some pasta to have dinner at my house and, well I guess we will head to the fair around six" Kevin said turning to Veronica
"Alright, then we will try to be there at eight so that you guys are not bothered" Veronica smiled "Betty and I will try to keep the attention away from you two" she paused "even though I know you love the attention" Veronica chuckled, Levin rolled his eyes at her laughing.
"Thank you Ronnie, I really appreciate you guys trying to help me with Joaquin" Kevin smiled as they got to the school's parking lot.
"so what are you wearing?" Veronica said parking and turning the car off
"I don't know yet, Ronnie I'm nervous I want this to be good"
Veronica took her seat belt off tensing to Kevin "listen wear something comfortable and also remember you promised dinner so you could make pasta and well, have fun at the fair, go on rides, kiss, just act like you normally would"
"Alright but if anything happens I'm going to call you" Kevin chuckled
They got out of the car and walked to school. Kevin had his morning classes and so far he did not have homework which made him really happy, at lunch him and his friends ate outside since it was nice outside, the friend group kept making jokes and laughing, they were having a nice time, Kevin was sitting in between Veronica and Betty, Jughead was telling a story of his math teacher "but anyways who is going to the fair" he asked looking at everyone "um well" Betty stuttered "Veronica and I were thinking on going around"
Betty looked at Veronica so that she would continue the sentence "oh yes we will go a round eight if you guys want to join us"
Archie nodded "you coming Kevin?" he asked "um no I don't think so, my dad is not here this weekend" Kevin stuttered "well, and, I have lots of homework, so I think I pass, you guys have fun" he smiled trying to not look suspicious
"Okay so I guess it's only us four then" Jughead smiled and Kevin nodded.
Kevin's class after lunch was stressing, his teacher had decided to make a pop quiz, he finished his quiz and was dismissed for his last class, he got to his next classroom and leaned against the lockers beside the classrooms door
"hey Kev" Kevin turned around confused, it was Moose "hey" he said without bothering to look at the boy, the bell rang and students started to get impatient since the teacher wasn't showing up "so Kev, what are you doing later tonight?" Moose said getting close to Kevin.
Kevin moved a step back "um staying home I guess" I have homework"
Moose got close to him once again,
"maybe I could come over, and you know" Moose ran his hand to Kevin's back "fool around maybe?" Moose smirked, "I don't think I can" Kevin said moving away from the lockers and Moose, Kevin opened his mouth to say something but someone interrupted.
