A few months after his tearful goodbye to Donna Noble, the Doctor was travelling in the TARDIS to the planet Morag in the year 2014. He was trying to retrieve a mysterious orb, which he knew contained the Power Stone - one of the six Infinity Stones. The Doctor knew that if the stone fell into the wrong hands, there would be chaos throughout the universe. And after all he had seen, all he had lost, he couldn't let that happen. He was determined to protect innocent people, because despite originally intending to see and travel across the universe, he now knew that it had to be protected.

'Almost there,' the Doctor stated, as the TARDIS began to materialise on Morag, which had been abandoned for many years. There was once civilisation there, but not anymore. Then the TARDIS landed, and he opened the doors. Before him stood the ancient ruined temple of Morag, which housed the powerful Infinity Stone. 'There it is,' he said. Approaching the mysterious temple, he noticed a mysterious dark figure, emerging from a spaceship. He was wearing a mask, which had two red visors on it, which were the only thing lighting up on the figure's face. The Doctor recognised the spaceship which he was emerging from. 'He must be a Ravager,' the Doctor muttered, 'He's probably only doing this for money, and he simply has no idea.' He then used his screwdriver to check where the orb was. 'Well, allons-y!' he said to himself.

The Doctor then ventured further into the dark, ruined temple, wearing a perception filter so the man couldn't notice him. But along the way, he noticed the man again, but this time he wasn't so mysterious, as he wasn't wearing a mask. He was revealed to be a good looking, middle aged man, with brown hair which had been darkened by the rain outside. And he was - dancing? The Doctor was mildly confused at the sight that he had seen. He was using an old Sony Walkman cassette player, dancing as if no one was watching. But the Doctor mildly enjoyed this. In a way, he reminded the Doctor of one of his old friends Captain Jack Harkness. 'I bet this man's a womaniser,' he said to himself, 'but then again, who am I and Jack to judge?'

He then noticed a deep, wide chasm. 'Well, I don't think I will be able to make it across there,' the Doctor said. The man appeared again, and he used jetpack boots to make it across the chasm. 'Well, he's got it,' the Doctor muttered in defeat. But then he saw more figures coming. Kree. Specifically, Korath the Pursuer and two Sakaaran soldiers. 'Oh no,' he whimpered. 'They're after the Stone, and if they come across him...well, he's in a lot of trouble!'

He ran towards the chasm, and jumped to the other side, but the Time Lord was hanging on to the cliff edge. He just managed to make it up, but then the Doctor noticed Korath approaching closer and closer. He ran into a corner and hid, and he watched nervously as the man tried to take the Orb for himself. And then the Kree entered. Korath was pointing his weapon at the man. 'Drop it!' he yelled. 'Ummmm..hey!' the man nervously replied. 'DROP IT NOW!' Korath shouted, just after giving orders in Kree language. 'Hey there you go man, no problem,' the man said as he gave up the Orb to Korath, 'no problem at all!' But the Sakaaran soldiers still kept pointing their guns at him.

But the Doctor then soon found two Sakaaran soldiers taking him as well. 'Wait! But I'm not doing anything!' he said.  He was then presented to Korath as well, as the Sakaaran soldiers uttered Kree. Korath was soon pointing a gun at his face, as the other man, still being held at gunpoint, looked on, confused. 'Who are you?' he said. 'SILENCE!' Korath roared. 'Are you two working together? How do you both know about this?'

'I don't even know what that is! In fact, I don't even know who he is! I'm just a junker, man! I'm just checking stuff out!' the man said. 'Ummmmm...so am I!' the Doctor said. Korath pointed at the other man. 'You don't look like a junker, you're wearing Ravager garb!'

'This is just an outfit, man - Ninja Turtle, you'd better stop poking me-' the man began. 'Oh, I've never heard of Sakaarans being called Ninja Turtles before-' the Doctor also began.

'SHUT UP!' Korath roared at the Doctor. He turned towards the man. 'WHAT IS YOUR NAME?' he yelled. 'My name is Peter Quill, okay, dude chill out-' Peter began. 'AND YOU?' Korath shouted. 'The Doctor!' the Doctor replied. 'Doctor who?' Korath asked. 'Ummmm....' the Doctor replied. But before he had a chance to answer, Korath was already screaming 'DOCTOR WHO?' in his face. 'JUST THE DOCTOR, NOTHING ELSE!' the Doctor yelled back. 'MOVE!' Korath yelled. 'Why?' Peter asked. 'Ronan may have questions for you both.'

'Hey you know what? There's another name you might know me by!' Peter said. Korath and the Doctor turned towards him. 'Star-Lord,' he said. A stunned look grew on the Doctor's face. He had heard that name before, but he didn't know that Star-Lord was real. 'Who?' Korath said , bemused. 'Star-Lord, man! Legendary outlaw?' Peter said disappointedly. Peter then turned
towards the Doctor. 'You've heard of me right?' he asked. 'Yes, actually, I didn't know you were even real!' the Doctor replied. 'What?' Peter replied. 'Nothing!' the Doctor said. 'Guys?' he said looking at the Sakaaran soldiers behind them. 'MOVE!' Korath said. 'Ah forget this,' Peter replied before rolling an ball of light that he had used to replace the orb behind them, disintegrating the soldiers, before pulling out two guns and shooting Korath. 'Well that was good, wasn't it-' the Doctor began before Korath slowly got back up.

'I have a better idea - RUN!' the Doctor yelled before Korath shot at Peter, as he just managed to dodge out of the way. He quickly put the mask on his face and used his jetpack boots to launch him and the Doctor out of danger. 'GET TO YOUR SHIP, QUICKLY!' the Doctor yelled. 'I HAVE A PLAN!' The Doctor then ran towards the TARDIS and dematerialised it away, as Peter boarded his ship, narrowly escaping Korath and the Sakaaran soldiers who were chasing him. Just as he was taking off, he noticed the police box slowly materialising behind him. 'What is that thing?' Peter said. The Doctor then emerged from the police box before entering the seat next to Peter's. 'I have no time to explain now, just get out of here!' the Doctor said, as Peter just managed to escape from the Kree and Sakaarans.

He laughed victoriously, grabbing the Doctor, who was wiping the sweat from his forehead. 'Phew-' the Doctor began just before the ship flipped up into the air - it had hit a huge geyser. Peter was thrown to the back of the ship, and the Doctor was thrown out of his own seat. 'HANG ON!' the Doctor yelled as he and Peter were thrown around the ship. Peter just managed to flick a switch, which slowed his ship down. The Doctor and Peter were sat in front of the blue box. Then a voice whimpered, 'Peter what happened?' It was a young purple woman, wearing a t-shirt that happened to be from Earth. 'Who is that? And what is that thing?'

'Hey, ummmmm...' Peter began 'Bereet,' the woman replied. 'Bereet!' Peter replied. 'Look, I'm gonna be totally honest with ya, I forgot you were here.' Bereet looked confused. The Doctor turned to Peter. 'You naughty boy,' he giggled as he and Peter smiled at each other.
