The Doctor, Peter, Gamora, Rocket and Groot were led into Tivan's huge and dark collection, filled with all kinds of space artifacts, some dead, some living. 'Okay, this isn't creepy at all.' Rocket said. 'We house the galaxy's largest collection of fauna, relics and species of all manner.' Carina said as everyone looked around. Rocket noticed a dog in a spacesuit, which he growled at. The Doctor, on the other hand noticed two things that were much more sinister - a robotic head, with two black holes for eyes and a small rectangular mouth piece, and another robotic creature, with a single eyestalk which was turned off, and two lights on the side of its head. It also had a plunger and a gunstick, and there were many spheres on the bottom of it. Peter noticed him staring at this with fear. 'Doctor, what is that?' he asked. 'It's a Dalek.' the Doctor said. 'Old enemies of mine. My most hated enemies.' He began to feel distressed. 'Doctor, it's OK, it's dead.' Peter said. 'Come on,' The Doctor kept staring for a moment before following the others. Then Carina stopped, and a mysterious man wearing a long black and white coat could be seen with his back turned. 'I present to you, Taneleer Tivan, the Collector.' Tivan had white hair, and was wearing strangle spectacles, which he quickly took off. 'Oh, my dear Gamora.' he said. 'How wonderful to meet in the flesh.' Tivan then noticed the Doctor. 'Let's bypass the formalities, Tivan,' Gamora said, 'we have what we discussed.' 'And if it isn't the Doctor.' he then said. 'Hello, well, I guess you have heard of me, right?' the Doctor replied. 'A Time Lord,' Tivan said. 'Which would be great for my collection.' 'No. I know who you are, Tivan,' the Doctor said, 'and I'm sorry but you can't have me.' Tivan then turned to Groot. 'What is that thing?' he asked. 'I am Groot,' Groot replied. Tivan then approached him. 'I'd never thought I'd meet a Groot,' he said. 'Sir...you must allow me to pay you now so that I may own your carcass. At the moment of your death of course.' 'I am Groot.' Groot replied, in an agreeable way. 'Why, so he could turn you into a frickin' chair?' Rocket sneered. 'That's your pet?' Tivan asked Groot. 'His WHAT?!' Rocket yelled, reaching for his gun, to which Tivan just smirked. 'Tivan,' Gamora said, 'we have been halfway around the galaxy, retrieving this Orb.' 'Very well, then.' Tivan replied, 'Let us see what you brought.' Gamora turned to Peter, who took the Orb out of his bag, and attempted to hand it to Tivan - but he dropped it and picked it up again - and then he gave it to Tivan.
Meanwhile, Drax was leaving the bar in a huff. He then saw a man who was communicating with someone else over an intercom. Suddenly, Drax put his knives to the man's throat. 'You shall send a message for me,' he said, threateningly.
'Oh my new friends,' Tivan began, 'before creation itself, there were six singularities. Then the universe exploded into existence, and the remnants of these systems were forged into concentrated ingots. Infinity Stones.' A machine disassembled the orb. 'No way,' the Doctor muttered. 'You seem to have heard of these then, Doctor?' Tivan said. 'Yes,' the Doctor replied. 'This is the Power Stone. Carry on?' 'These stones, it seems,' Tivan began, 'can only be brandished by beings of extraordinary strength.' 'Like Rassilon, who used the Time Stone to create the Eye of Harmony and the Time Vortex?' 'Yes, Doctor. Observe this.' A video was played of a celestial being using a staff, with the Power Stone inside, killing hundreds of people. 'These carriers can use the Stone to mow down entire civilisations like wheat in a field.' Tivan said. 'There's a little pee coming out of me right now.' Peter said. 'Tell me about it,' the Doctor replied. 'Once for a moment,' Tivan continued, 'a group was able to share the energy amongst themselves, but even they were quickly destroyed by it.' The stone, glowing purple, was then fully exposed, it glowing a bright purplish colour. Carina looked at it then looked at her master. Then Tivan started to shake. 'Ahhh, beautiful, beyond compare.' 'You haven't seen Gallifrey then,' the Doctor said. 'Blah, blah, blah,' Rocket moaned. 'We're all very fascinated, whitey. But we'd like to get paid.' 'How would you like to get paid?' Tivan asked. 'What do you think fancy man?' Rocket replied, 'Units!' 'Very well then,' Tivan said.
