The rain begins to fall. It creaks and crackles, ominous thunder rolling in the distance, and the freshly cut grass sticks to the bottom of your shoes as you stand on your porch, frowning at the mail you've received. Countless bills and nonsensical advertisements stare up at you, but none more striking than that of the boldly colored, hand-printed flyer that seems to glisten in the half-faded light of your porch.

Founder Charles Ariston...Yadda, yadda, yadda. All that nonsense of vacation and how amazing it'll be. Writers Only for this wonderful trip of a lifetime! It held promises galore, running around itself as it spoke of all the amazing qualities of the little island not too far away from the mainland of Florida, yet so distant from the bustling city that it's too perfect to pass up.

But, after the untimely death of his daughter and her husband. The word 'death' in an advertisement that wasn't for the morgue gets a short, bitter laugh from you, but you find that you've kept reading. Something about this place sounds good. Something about it makes you almost feel the desire written in the words, urging you to this island paradise.  Ariston's Writers Resort, as it called itself, seemed too good to be true. Something had to be off about the place, didn't it? The price, likely.

For simply 50 US dollars a night, meals included, this resort will be every writer's dream! It went on and on about the services provided and you skimmed over it all, waiting to get to the good part, their main tagline, whatever it could be.

"There's nothing more relaxing than looking over these open waters at this ocean...I've written so much, and Nick and I have been able to be calm and gentle within our marriage, keeping our flames of love and lust at bay as we combat the weariness of city life with this brief, but oh-so-perfect, escape. I wish this could be every day." His daughter's words spill a story untold of the beauty and calmness of the island. So much writing could be done there, it promised.

There's one line to the resort that stands out as the ink begins to run, the rain falling harder. Come one and come all, the island will be your newest, and happiest, vacation destination. It's time to see the words yet unwritten.
