Pamela Elouise— she prefers to be called Pam— is the head of housekeeping here at beautiful Ariston's Writers Resort! Ladies and Gentlemen beware, she's a dashing and flirtatious young woman who will steal your man faster than you can bat an eye. Don't worry, we're only teasing you. But we aren't joking about her fabulous housekeeping abilities. If it stains, rips, smells, or wrinkles, Pam can fix it up faster than you can fix yourself a drink. She takes great pride in making sure every room is in top-notch condition for each and every guest. Pam adores the people who come to stay at the resort and treats them like her own family. If you need an extra pillow or don't like the color of your curtains, she'll do everything in her power to make it more comfortable for you. Her laundry services are in the main building on the bottom floor, but you can reach her by telephone at any time and she'll be happy to iron, wash, replace, or fix anything you've got.
Pam fancies herself a writer in her free time, but it's nothing quite so dashing or glamorous as what many of you may be picturing. She keeps a little black notebook in the pocket of her apron and documents the comings and goings of the resort guests, making up little stories about their lives and who she thinks they are. If you sit down to have a chat with her, she'll swear to you that her great-grandson is a famous author out there in the real world, but she won't give you his name. You have to protect the privacy of great minds, don't you? She admires those who can use everyday words to tell their stories and enjoys working closely with them, even if its just to make their beds.
This lovely lady has worked for Mr. Artison for as long as she can remember. She was very close to his daughter and may have even been considered as a potential nanny for the children they tragically never got to have. Some might say that the reason sweet Pam stays is because she has a bit of a crush on the dashing Charles Artison, of which she will vehemently deny. Her reason for staying so long? The island is the only place that makes her feel young again.
