"They're trying to escape, Charles." She looked worried, her frown increasing on her face. It was one of the only wrinkles left. Pamela sighed, slouching over Charles's chair as he typed, watching as his message sent.
"Don't worry," he said, reaching up to pat her hand gently. "Everything is going splendidly. Soon, our guest will arrive."
☀Task☀
Hello, remaining six! At this point, your character has realized that something is quite wrong. People are being relocated and their cabins are empty. The few that haven't been relocated are the six of you. The island is bare and quiet, and walk as far as they might, the characters cannot find where the rest of the people have gone. At this island resort, things have been fine. The skies sunny, with only that one day of the storm, and it's far too peaceful for everyone to be missing. The job this task is to choose whether your character wants to find a way off the island, or decides to go looking in the woods for the relocated people.
Choice A: Leave
If your character decides to leave, you must write about them finding a way OFF the island. They can try to leave the island, but everything that they try must fail. There is no way off the island.
Choice B: Look For The Others
In this choice, your character is going through the woods looking for the others. They can go alone, or in a group. However, they notice that the woods seem to extend the deeper they go. If your character continues looking for more than an hour, they will discover that they cannot escape the woods of the island. They cannot find/see any of the relocated people, try as they might.
Option C: Both
Basically exactly what it reads. You can incorporate both into an entry!
Challenge: This entry, you must find something unusual on the island! What this is and how it affects your character is up to you!
Special Challenge: (This is your LAST chance to do the special challenge!) You must use the words exuberant, lament, clandestine, and truffles in your entry.
