"Oh, Charles! Look at how lively they are. So full of happiness. It makes me feel so young."
Charles smiled. "I know, Pam. I feel the same way."
☀Task☀
Now that everyone's in and writing comfortably, time for people to start relaxing! After that first bout of writing, your character needs a drink, maybe a few! (Alcoholic or not!) This task, your character (and any of their guests) is going to go down to the bonfire, where they will meet up with the other writers. Your character can choose not to interact, but they must be down there. Remember that there are other people at this resort as well as the competitors, so if you'd like to make up a person for your character to meet, that is entirely plausible!
In this task, there must be a story told. Your tribute must tell some sort of story from their life, giving us more insight to their person. This can be related to why they write or not. Like last time, this task is open to interpretation, so swing it any way that you'd like!
Challenge: This entry, your character must be flirted with! How do they respond? This correspondence must be at least two paragraphs long.
Special Challenge: (This is for those who received the ballots! If you include this in your entry, you will receive an extra point to your overall score.) Your character must misread something and make a mistake based off their misread.
Writers for the Special Challenge: Ida Jean Gallager (3)
Billy Driscoll (2)
Brendan James Johnson (2)
