Chapter 14 (live and let go)

Hayley's POV

Taylor and Cassie are coming over tonight they've been together for about 3 weeks now and I have not seen or heard from Taylor since then so it came as a big shock to me when he called me last night and he told me how much he missed me. I pretended to be happy when he called be but the bast 3 weeks made me feel more miserable than ever I miss him and I feel devastated that we don't hang out when we don't ever talk I miss him I miss us..... I love him. But it's too late. I have to move on and walk away.

I was dressed in a sleeveless black laced dressed that was just above the knee I have a pearl chocker on and some black ballet flats I took the lasagna out of the oven and set in my dining table I took out a bottle of champagne I set the table for 3. I hear the door bell ring and as I walk to the door I stopped by a mirror to look at myself for awhile I twisted up my frown into a smile and opened the door I see Taylor and Cassie and gave them hugs and I invited them in Cassie was a sight in her pink strapless dress and she looked so beautiful with her hair done like that Taylor was in a gray button down shirt and black slacks and I thought to myself how beautiful they looked together we arrived at the table and Taylor spoke "wow! You really went all out." I faked a big grin and replied well of course my bestfriend finally has a girl of course I'll go all out I even cooked." Taylor replied "wow this is scary." Cassie punched him in the stomach and she said "I'm sure this is gonna be delicious,right Taylor?" She stared at Taylor waiting for his approval "of course it is." He left out a laugh, oh how I missed that infectious laugh we digged in and Taylor spoke "wow! Hayley this isn't half bad." I let out a laugh Cassie immediately said "it's delicious Haley. Ohhh I almost forgot I made you some chocolate chip cookies Taylor said they were your favorite." She handed me a jar full of cookies "why Thanks Cas, T. This ones definately a keeper." We all laughed and they share how they fell in love and how happy they are together seeing them makes me feel so jealous and how beautiful they look together. I wish I was Cassie and how I wish he was mine
