Grey was annoyed with himself, he couldn't help but be soft towards Alexia. She was becoming his kryptonite.
Grey glanced out of the window as it began to rain
Grey stared at the wall in front of him, frozen
"Hey man you alright" Grey gave a simple nod, he felt the bed sink.
"You know you can tell me anything" Grey felt disgusted by the pat on his back that was given to him
These people though they were his friends just because they served together but truly they meant nothing to him, at least that's what Grey thought
"You never really talk" Grey wanted to strangle the life out of the man sitting next to him so he did, Grey launched himself onto the man, his hands wrapping around his throat
Grey lunged at the man, lieutenant Jackson Bellion. He has been there since the first day with Grey, he immediately attached himself to Grey which did aggravated him.
Everyday Jackson tried to befriend Grey for one reason, he knew Grey was struggling, he went through it himself
Grey's grip tighten as all his emotions came through. He released Jackson from his grip and instead broke a near by glass.
"Firm grip" he chuckled
Grey glared at the man wishing he would have died on the battlefield, he regretted letting him go.
"You're so confusing you know that?" Grey sat back down on the bed
"I know you hate it here, I also know you were forced to be here but I don't exactly know why" Grey's glare never softened
"How the hell do you know that?" Grey's voice was husky
"He speaks" Jackson smiled
Grey rolled his eyes hoping for death, that has been a common occurrence at his time here, suicide sounded wonderful to him and no one would truly miss him
"I over heard the captain speaking about you" Grey's faced conveyed no emotion
"What the hell do you want?" Jackson stood up and sat next to Grey once again
"Promise you won't try to kill me" Jackson playfully nudged Grey with shoulder
"fuck off" Jackson shook his head
"I want to understand you, I feel like we could be great friends" Grey scoffed
"I just tried to kill you" Jackson gripped Grey's shoulder
"That's gonna make the friendship even more fun"
What was this man truly trying to do?, Grey had never really trusted anyone but himself during his life. He only counted on himself as a support system especially since his parents never truly cared about his well being
"Come on what do you say?" Grey stared at Jackson
His raven black hair was ruffled from their scuffle, his brown eyes were filled with curiosity, a straight nose perfectly positioned on his face, thin lips were pulled into a smile, his feature were placed wonderfully on his olive skin
"Why should I trust you?" Jackson shrugged
"You don't have to, it's up to you. I'm just offering a lonely guy some company" Grey hesitantly nodded before grabbing Jackson's collar
"Betray me and next time I won't let go" Jackson held up his hand in surrender and nodded
That was the first true friend Grey had ever made. Ever since that night Jackson never left Grey's side.
