What Are Friends For? (I)

Mark stepped out of Grey's room with a sigh

"He doesn't want to see anybody" Alexia frowned

"What happened to him?" Hayden inquired

"None of your business" Mark gritted his teeth and Sarina caressed his back making him sigh

"What about me?" Alexia interjected

"He didn't even want to see me. He was just angry"

"I think we should just leave him her for tonight and come back tomorrow to see him" Alexia dropped herself on a chair

Promise me you'll never give up on me

Those words rang through her ears, over and over again. She glanced up at those around her, Hayden was uninterested, Sarina was comforting Mark and Mark was trying his best to keep a brave face maybe it'd be better if they did leave for tonight

"Ok, I'll be back tomorrow after school" Mark nodded

"I'll come too" Hayden rolled his eyes at Sarina

"You don't have to Sarina" Alexia stated

"No he's my friend too" Mark smiled

"Thank you girls for your support" Mark gave Alexia a side hug

"I just wish Finn would see the bigger picture" Hayden was suddenly interested, he was the only one who didn't know what was happening

"No problem. He'll make it"

Was he dying?

This ran through Hayden's mind but to be honest he didn't care. Now Alexia's attention was fully on Finn and that infuriated him.

Hayden wanted to grab Alexia and lock her away for himself but he knew she'd kill him before that could ever happen

"Let's go Alexia" Mark grabbed Alexia's hand

"Why don't you continue staying at Grey's place" Mark knew exactly what he was doing, he couldn't stand Hayden and knowing they lived together didn't make it better. He wanted to end that friendship as soon as possible, Hayden was a hindrance to Alexia and Grey's relationship

"You think that's a good idea" Mark nodded

"I'm going to need someone to look after Grey as I've taken over his work and I won't be able to be there very often" Hayden scoffed

"Let's just go Alexia" she shook her head

"I'll stay at Grey's, he needs me right now" Hayden couldn't believe his ears, how had they brainwashed his best friend?

"You come with me then" she nodded, Mark smirked

"Hey, why don't we go out tonight. To get our minds off of things, we can go out to a new restaurant I've heard about" Sarina chimed

"I think that's a good idea. We all need a break, especially you Alexia, you've had it rough today. My treat" Mark rubbed her shoulder soothingly

"I'd like that, I hope Finn wouldn't mind"

"I'm sure he won't"

Hayden stared at Alexia as she packed her stuff. She was really going to stay at his house for god knows how long, this wasn't right, she barely knew the guy.

"Why are you doing this?" Alexia frowned

"What do you mean?" Hayden rolled his eyes

"All this for a guy you don't know" Alexia glanced at Hayden, he looked like a child that was about to have a temper tantrum
