Alexia stared at herself in the mirror ensuring that her bump couldn't be seen, thankfully it was barely there as she was only 4 months along. She worried about how she was going to break the news to her family. Engaged and pregnant, her father was going to have a heart attack.
She'd been so caught up in the Hamilton family she forgot about her own. She'd already gotten the call from her parents, they were going to be front and centre along with her brother.
She was nervous. The gown hid her belly perfectly but the dress she wore underneath didn't. A part of her couldn't help but feel unsettled at the thought of seeing Hayden again.
She didn't hate him, some days she felt herself missing him. He was her best friend for a long time, it shouldn't have ended like that, she sighed.
"You should be happy" Grey kissed her cheek, she could smell the bourbon he drank.
"Its 3 pm" Grey shrugged
"But its Friday and I'm celebrating for the both of us. Plus I'm swamped with work, I need a breather. You're not exactly in the position to take that stress off of me" he winked at her, his manner of stress relief was currently way too rough for Alexia
"Look at where that got us the first time" he chuckled
"It's not my fault that you're irresistible" he ran his lips over her neck making her shiver.
She felt butterflies in her stomach, or maybe it was morning sickness but either way she was nervous. She was about to see her parents in person for the first time in 3 years, as she rarely went back home and her parents were glued to their jobs.
Grey rested his hand on her thigh and rubbed it soothingly. The relationship between them had blossomed into something Grey would have never expected, and he had Mark to thank for that.
The drive to Alexia's school was now over, Alexia excused herself to go backstage, she had something to do.
She sighed as she saw Hayden, she had to fix this.
Hayden had to get everything together. He had to rebuild himself and his life, realize his wrongs.
"How have you been doing?" Hayden looked up from his coffee to look at Sarina.
"Are you sure Alexia would be ok with you meeting me?" Sarina took Hayden's hand
"How are you?" She ignored his question, she knew Alexia wouldn't care
"A bit lonely. I haven't lived alone in a long time" Sarina smieled softly
"I wish I could say sorry" Sarina frowned
"What's stopping you?" Hayden sighed
"The Hamiltons" Sarina giggled
"You're afraid of those softies? They may seem scary but they're just over protective. Mark would have a heart attack if he knew I was here" Hayden scoffed
"You too huh?"
"Well I am carrying Mark's child" Hayden froze causing Sarina to laugh
"Don't worry about, I'm just doing him a favour" Hayden shook his head
"That's a huge favour" Sarina shrugged
"I'm getting a good deal out of this so I don't mind"
"Talk to her, she was yours first. You just wasted your time" Hayden stared out of the window
"Do you think we could have work?" Sarina looked at Hayden in his eyes, they were melancholic
"Honestly yes, you two were friends for a while. If I didn't know you two were friends I would have thought you were a couple. The real question is would you have done something to make that happen?" Hayden chuckled bitterly
