"Could we stop?, I need to use the bathroom" Alexia glanced at Grey who had a pained look on his face

"Sure" Alexia stopped in the parking lot of the fast food place, before Grey left the car Alexia grabbed his hand firmly

"You know you can tell me anything?" Grey gave a soft smile but it felt as those words reminded him of his fallen friend, his facal expression worried Alexia

"I do" that was the honest truth but that was not something he could do, his mind wouldn't let him.

He briskly walked to the bathroom. He entered an empty stall and locked himself in, luckily the bathroom was empty.

He dropped himself onto the ground as tears ran down his face continuously, his heart was beating vigorously, sweat coated his forehead and his breathing became strained.

No words could come out of his mouth, this was not the first time this happened to him. Every since his left the army his mind was his enemy.

Panic attacks were not as common for him but he hated them with a passion. It made him feel weak and vulnerable

He tried to calm his breathing and thinked about his uncle and how nice he was to him, he had to get his mind off of Mark and Alexia

He shakily took his phone from his pocket. He texted his uncle

'Please help me'

...........

Grey's mind was in a mess. Alexia face drifted in his head, he tried his best to focus on her.

Her soft voice, smooth skin, beautiful lips. His heart beat begun to slow, his mind filled itself with images of her.

He clumsily got off of the floor and made his way outside, he stared at the car for a moment before heading off in a different direction.

He couldn't face her or at least that's what he thought, the truth was that he didn't want to face her. He would never forgive himself if he ever hurt her, physically or mentally.

He walked to a near by convenience store, it was quiet, one older woman was behind the register. His face was cold and unwelcoming.

He took a bottle of water from the fridge and paid for it

"You shouldn't frown like that, you're too young." Grey didn't show any emotion towards the woman. He paid and quickly left

The question was now where was he going?, he'd never been here before. He stumbled across a restaurant after walking a short distance. His mind wondered to Alexia as he sat down in the back, would she be worried about his disappearance?

"Good afternoon sir, are you ready to order?" The waitress never looked up from her notepad

"What do you recommend?" His voice came out husky. The waitress' head shot up, a bright smile appeared on her face

"H-hello Mr. Hamilton, the chicken sandwich is incredible" she smoothed down her skirt

"I'll take it with a beer. By the way where am I?"

"You're in Brighton" she smiled then walked off

Grey placed his head in his hands with my a groan, what was he going to do?, what was he even doing?

He left the comfort of his uncle to come to a place he's never been before but still he didn't want to face him the same way he didn't want to face his demons.
