A few Months had passed and the world seemed to be on their side. Alexia stared down at the diamond ring on her finger
Grey took her to the park where he had the best memories. He closed his eyes to inhale the smell of the park. She looked at him intently as he made his way to a bridge that stood over a small pond, strangely it was it with fairy light but that did not cause her to suspect anything.
The park looked like something out of a fairtale. The grass was well groomed, the trees looked like they were strategically placed there
She followed him to the ground where he now stood, she leaned against the railing and looked at him. He was lost in the distance.
His gaze slowly moved to her where he gave her a small smile. He took a deep breath and took her hand.
"I never expected that I'd actually meet someone I can relate to, I could even say love" Alexia was frozen in place, his words seemed like fiction
He gave her hand a gentle squeeze and went down on on knee, her unoccupied hand flee to her mouth and tears formed in her eyes. He pulled out a little black box from his pocket and opened to reveal a extravagant diamond ring.
"I know we've only know each other for about a year but I'd be a fool to let you go so easily. I'm not saying that you need to say yes or that this will happen as soon as possible but Alexia Raine Lauren will you marry me?" She dropped down to her knees and threw herself into Grey's arms.
As quickly as she threw herself at Grey she found herself standing back but over the railing emptying contents of her stomach. Grey shot up and begun to rub her back, she rested her head on the railing as her could no longer expell anything.
"I guess you're not the only one with a surprise"
It had been 1 month and 2 weeks since her first time and Grey was relentless, he'd have Alexia anytime he could, she'd forced him to use protection but it was already too late.
She missed her monthly period and had begun getting sick in the mornings. Sarina found her on the floor, dry heaving into the toilet. She forced Alexia to take a pregnancy test and it was positive.
She took out the positive pregnancy test as well as a doctor's note further confirming her pregnancy. Grey stared at Alexia unsure how to react but for her sake he wrapped his arms around her before slipping the ring into her finger.
The fact that Alexia could be pregnant crossed his mind a few time but he never thought it would materialize.
Mark's coughing snapped Grey out of a trance. Grey decided to tell Mark the next time they met.
"Congratulations son. You're not pleased?" Mark could see the uncertainty on Grey's face.
"I don't know if I'm ready, I don't even know if I want a child. I just found love" Mark stood up from his chair, walked over to Grey and placed his both hands on his shoulders
"You have about 8 months to get your shit together. That baby is going to depend on you and Alexia to survive. I know what you're thinking and you will be a great father if you put your mind to it. No one is perfect, no parent is perfect, you will make mistakes and there's nothing wrong with that. All that matters is that you learn from those mistakes and don't do it again with the next one" Grey scowled
" I'll always be here to help you and Alexia's parents as well" Mark gave it a thought
" You know maybe we should have met her parents before all this happened" Grey's eyes shot daggers at Mark
