Chapter Four: Nothing Ever Changes Does It

Everest's POV

I woke up slightly cold as I rolled over. My back hurt and I was sure I rolled in some crumbs. I sighed, eyes still closed and laid there before my brain caught up to me. My eyes snapped open and I looked around. Kieara wasn't anywhere and her shoes were gone. I frowned she could have already told me she was leaving. I grabbed my phone yawning and looked at the time. "Shit" I was late for school. I jumped up looking in my drawer for a clean pair of jeans. My eyes landed on some jean shorts and I grabbed them pulling off my pajamas and throwing them on. In my haste I realized something. As I looked around my empty room it was just that, empty. Where the hell is Kieara. Her clothes were gone and the room looked like she was never here. I pulled out a blue lace back shirt and put it on while I grabbed my phone. There were three texts all from my mom said she wasn't going to be home tonight. I unlocked my phone and went to my call tapping on her number. It rang and rang but went straight to voicemail. I made a face and called it again. This time when it rang in the middle of the second one it went to voice mail. Is she bitch buttoning me? I rolled my eyes sliding into my Blue Jordan Thirteen's and grabbed my keys. Maybe she was busy with practice or something. I got in car calling one more time and getting her voicemail. What the hell was going on? I could feel my temper start to boil. I know she doesn't think she can have sex with me and ignore my calls I thought as I pulled up in the school parking lot. I parked and got out the car grabbing my book bag and purse and looked around for her. I started to cool down when I thought she wasn't outside but as I turned my head I saw her leaning against a wall whispering in some random girls ear. My temper was back and raging in my veins. I walked over to them and tapped her on the back. She turned and looked at me.

"Wassup." She said and turned back to the girl. I made a face and tapped her again. She turned and made an annoyed face. "What?"

"Where have you been? I've been calling you." I said saying it in the same tone. She pulled out her phone and glanced at it.

"Oh. I guess I missed it."

"You guess?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah, is there a problem with that?" She said and the stupid bitch she was with huffed impatiently.

"Uh hell yeah there's a fucking problem! We have sex and you are gone in the morning like some fuckin one night stand and then when I call to ask where the hell you are you don't answer and to make all your shit worse your standing up here with this slut!"

"Excuse me bitch?!" The lil bitch said moving up off the wall fist balled like she was going to swing.

"Aye!" Kieara said and stopped the girl cutting her eyes at me. "You calm down I got this" She said and turned to me. "Look Everest last night was cool and shit but that doesn't mean I want to be with you. It was nothing to me but good s-" The last word didn't escape her mouth due to me slapping her in the face. Her face was shocked and mine was angry. 

"You weren't saying all this shit last night!" I said eyes blazing. "Oh I'm really feeling you Everest" I mocked her words. The only reasonable thought that played through my mind like a scratched CD is that she played me...Again. She lead me to believe something was there but there wasn't. "Yeah you caught feelings and then we fucked and now your outside with some TRAMP." I said looking right at the girl when I said it.

"You wouldn't have given it up if I hadn't lied." She said face hard. I wanted to hit her again.

"Now whose the tramp." Side bitch mumbled. I was about to open my mouth and give her an ear full about herself but someone grabbed my arms. I looked back and couldn't recognize the face at all.

"Come on ma she ain't worth the drama." She said pulling me away from them both. She pulled me into the school and I pulled away from her.

"Who the hell are you?" I asked pulling my book bag off looking at her. She was light skin like she might be mixed with something and her hair was in cornrows. She was a stud no doubt clad in black cargo shorts, a "Just Do Me" tee, a Trukfit snapback, and black timberland she looked at me with light brown eyes and smirked.
