Epilogue

(Time skip three years later...)

Carmen's POV

"OWIE!!!" I heard a loud, high pitched shout from the living room, I left the kitchen to do damage control. In the living room there was Dallas, holding her arm and crying. There was also her laughing cousin Xavier. I ran over to check her arm. Xavier had drawn blood. I got Dallas to the bathroom and cleaned her up. I put a hello kitty bandaid on the mark.

I got back to the living room with Dallas hiding behind me. Xavier reached out towards my arm and pinched. Hard. I let out a surprised yelp and the kid continued to laugh. "Dallas. Go play with your toys." I told her, my voice deadly calm. She raced off to her room. I faced Xavier. "Xavier Riley White. Do you know what happens to bad kids?" I asked. He shook his head no.

I picked him up and laid him across my lap. He sensed what was coming. I spanked him and he started to cry. "Well, if you're gonna be bad, you have to suffer the consequences." I said mildly. I only spanked him three times but that was enough to get the message through to him.

"Now, I will take you to Dallas's room and you can apologize." I said. Xavier nodded and obeyed. The two were soon playing together although Dallas made sure she was in my line of sight as I did the dishes. The door bell rang and I eagerly ran to answer it. Melody and Mason were there.

"Mama! Daddy! Aunt Carmen spanked me!" Xavier whined as he ran towards his parents. Melody snarled at me but Mason looked slightly relieved. "Before you even start, Melody. Xavier pinched my daughter so hard he drew blood and then tried to do that to me. Naturally, I punished him." I said with the tone of asking the weather forecast. Melody's mouth closed and Mason smiled slightly.

I heard a throat clearing from behind them. I smiled as they both jumped. Marshall was cracking up. Dallas came running out and tackled Marshall. "DADDY!!!" She screamed happily. I laughed and there we all stood. The silence got to be awkward and then Mason and Melody left with Xavier.

"What went on today?" Marshall asked. I told him the entire story, unaware that Melody was plotting something out of sight. Carol wandered on by and we hugged. "Hey, I haven't seen you in awhile!" I said happily. Marshall went to play with Dallas as Carol and I talked.

I heard a swish through the air and saw a silver knife pelting towards me. Without thinking, Carol jumped in front of it and I heard it pierce her flesh. I looked down. It was in her heart. "Get.....Her......Back....For....This.....Please...." she gasped out between breaths. She clasped my arm. "Tell....Dallas....Auntie....Carol...Loves...Her..." Carol gasped out again.

I knew I couldn't, and neither could Lana, stop the silver. It was currently pumping through her veins since it went in at her heart. "I'm... Sorry...Carmen..." she said. I could see the life draining out of her and I felt tears prick the corners of my eyes. "You did great, Carol. Thank you, for saving my life." I said. Carol smiled and I saw her eyes go dim.

Carol was dead. The knife still protruded from her chest. I grasped the handle and yanked it out. The blood had mostly gushed out but it bled a bit. I prayed to the Moon Goddess that Carol would be happy. I prayed for The Fallen Omega.

Aww...Poor Carol. *Sniff* Anyway, this is the very last chapter of this book and the next one will be all about Dallas. HAPPY EASTER!!! I HOPE THAT BUNNY LAID LOT'S OF EGGS!! ;) I think I might put this series on hold for a bit. What would you guys wanna see next?
