Tyler's POV:
I finally got to leave the hospital. Ethan took me 'home', where ever that is. I grabbed Ethan's free hand, holding it tightly. Then, something good happened.
"November 2, 2017!" I yelled. Ethan just looked at me. I added, "That's the date we started dating!"
He almost ran a stop sign, he was so happy.
"Tyler! You're remembering!" He screamed."Tyler? Oh, that's me. That's funny, I thought of myself as a Patrick, or Brian." I chuckled.
We got to this beautiful Colonial-style, brick home. It was two stories, had a two-car garage, beautifully decorated front yard, the most amazing glass door you could think of, and a beautiful brown Mustang in the driveway, which came to a half circle. It was absolutely amazing. He pulled in the driveway and turned the engine off.
"There is no way we live here." I told him, getting out and admiring it.
"Yes we do. Your mom, who lives across the street, bought it for us the first time we went to the hospital. That's when you had your kidney removed." I was in awe.
"And who's car is that?" I asked, pointing to the Mustang.
"That's your car. The school we graduated from bought it for us after we got out of the hospital."
"Wait." I started thinking. "Lakeveiw High?"
"Yes! I'm surprised!" Then a lady with brunette hair came out of the house across the street and walked over to what I guess is our house. She looked to be in her forties, she was really short. She was beautiful though.
"Tyler! I'm so glad to see you!" She said, pulling me in a hug. Although I didn't know who the lady was, I gave her a hug back, not saying anything. In case I hurt her by not remembering.
She looked at Ethan.
"Is he remembering things?" She asked, letting me go, obviously concerned.
"Yes! He is! He remembered my name, the date we got together, and the high school's name!" Ethan was overly excited.
"That's great! At least we know that he can remember!" She said.
"Ok, so there's a bit of information that I need to know." I said, trying to not sound rude.
"What is it darling?" The woman said.
"Who are you exactly?" I asked, grabbing the back of my neck. She looked at me, but luckily she looked like she understood that I wasn't going to remember.
"I'm your mom, Tyler." She said with a bright smile.
That smile."I.. Remember an.. argument.." I muttered low, hoping they wouldn't hear me.
"What argument?" Ethan asked, even though he knew what argument I was referring too.
"You know which one..." I dare not say the outcome of that. I wore the scars from it.
"Oh.. that one.." I looked down. How could I cause pain to such an amazing person? Ethan lifted my head up.
"Hey, no need to feel like that. It's in the past. We forgave each other. All that matters are the rings we wear." He smiled, reassuring what he said to me. I pulled him in a hug and kissed him. That's when all the memories came flooding back to me. It felt like a dam that was holding my memories broke, and everything came back to me. I started feeling a little woozy, from the sudden change. Ethan noticed and sat me down in the hood of his car, my mom looking at me, worried.
When my head finally stopped spinning, I just laughed. Laughed and cried. I didn't even know it was possible to laugh and cry, but I did it. I was laughing and crying so hard, I didn't realize Ethan's look on his face.
Two simple words came out of my mouth, but these words meant everything to me.
"I remember."
I remembered third grade.
I remembered the note Ethan wrote.
I remembered the fight with Jordan in the hall.
I remembered that special night after I got out of the hospital.
I remembered the wedding day, when Ethan got shot, we finished the wedding in his hospital room, we bought cake for the entire hospital.
I remembered.A/N: So I was going to name this chapter, I Remembered, but I didn't want to spoil it. But if you didn't notice what I did with the memories, I put them in order of how they happened from least important to most, not saying that meeting Ethan wasn't important, and the most recent memory has more detail. I got this idea from another Tythan story I read called, Hiding Behind a Fake Smile(Tythan) by nicolicasseroli. Their story was one of the first Tythan stories I have read. It's amazing and I love it. You should go check it out. But anyway, the next chapter is going to be bad, trust me. Get ready for the feels.
