Tyler's POV:

It was less then an hour before Ethan walked down the isle. I was standing in the dressing room in a purple colored suit. I was trying to put on a blue tie. It was giving me hell. I don't know what it was, but I couldn't tie a tie to save my life, and time was running out.  I grabbed my phone and texted Mark.

Me: MARK! WE HAVE A SITUATION!! GET TO MY DRESSING ROOM NOW!!

Two minutes later, Mark showed up.

"WHAT IS IT TYLER?!" He yelled.

"My tie! It won't fucking tie!" I screamed back.
He sighed.

"Really, Ty? You don't know how to tie a tie?" He said, walking over to me and tying my tie.

"I do!" I defended.
When he finally tied it, it was less then thirty minutes before it started. I ran outside where the chairs were set up. I stopped running and walked down the isle. I waited in my spot, and the pianist started playing. Everyone went silent and my parents walked down the isle, getting to their spot in the front. Then Ethan came with his mom walking down the isle. I started crying right then and there. He looked stunning. He was wearing a really pretty blue tux, matching his hair and his eyes. He had purple shoes on, while I had blue shoes on, matching his tux. Seeing him walk down the isle made me realize that he was going to be all mine, and I couldn't hold back the feeling. While he was walking, I turned to Mark and cried. He patted my back. Once I composed myself, I turned around and made eye contact with Ethan. And we both smiled at the same time. When he reached the top of the stairs, the music stopped playing and the pastor walked forward.

"Today we are here in holy matrimony. Today is the day that Ethan James Nestor marries Tyler Steven Scheid. They have written their own vows. Tyler, would you like to start?"

"Ethan, you have been my best friend for as long as I can remember. And in fifth grade, I fell for you. But I couldn't be gay. So I forced myself to be straight. But our senior year, you passed me a note in math class. What you wrote changed my life." I started crying, "Since that day, I couldn't even be five minutes without you by my side. One month ago, I promised to take care of you, to love you for who you are, to protect you from anything that will hurt you. And I still stand by that promise. And to be here today, standing in front of my first and only love, is breathtaking. I love you Ethan Nestor, I always will. The ring will prove that. Through think and thin, I'm yours."

"That was beautiful, Tyler. Ethan, it's your turn." The preacher said.

"Tyler. We have had some good times together when we were friends. We've had some even better times as a couple. We both have had some close calls with death. And that brought us closer as a couple. If we can get through that. We can get through anything. I knew when I first told you that I was gay that I wanted to be with you. All of my exes were jealous that I was spending so much time with you. And to be honest, I didn't really love any of them. I love you. Forever and always. And I'm going to make a promise to you. I promise to make you smile with my cheap jokes. I promise to make your coffee with five sugar and a whole bottle of creamer." Everyone chuckled. "I promise to make you breakfast every Sunday. I love you Tyler Scheid. You have my heart. You always will."

"Truly beautiful. Does anyone object to these two people? Speak now or forever hold your peace."

"Yeah. I do." I heard that all too familiar voice. "Two men shouldn't be dating," Jordan raised a gun up, "and they sure as hell shouldn't get married." He pulled the trigger and hit Ethan in the shoulder.

"NO!" I grabbed Ethan, putting some pressure on his wound. He coughed.

"Tyler..." He reached up and grabbed my face.
I started crying, everyone was screaming, running away while security tackled Jordan and took the gun away from him.
