"Carrie... your parents are at my house... it's time to go." Two-Bit said when we walked in. Ponyboy and I looked at each other. "Okay." I said quietly finally speaking. "I'll come with you to bring her back." Ponyboy said to Two-Bit. "Alright, Carrie your suit case is all packed up?" Two-Bit said and I nodded.
He called Darry from the living room to say goodbye to me. We hugged and he said thank you to me for being there for Pony.
"Come back soon." He smiled. "I will." I said.
Next we went outside where Steve and Sodapop were about to leave for work. "See ya blondie, as Dal would say." Steve said hugging me. "Yeah he would." I laughed a little trying not to cry.
"Bye Carolyn." Sodapop said looking at me in the eyes with a smile that warmed my heart. He gave me a big hug and also thanked me for making Ponyboy happy and finally being a girl he talked to which made all of us laugh. "I'll miss you guys. Thank you for everything." I said.
Two-Bit, Pony and I got in the car and drove to Two-Bit's house where my parents were waiting outside. When we got out of the car I hugged them. Two-Bit went inside to get my suit case to give me and Pony a moment alone.
"Well... here you go." Pony said with his eyes tearing up. "Yeah. I don't know how I'll be with out you." I said starting to cry.
"Remember it's only two months." he said.
"Yeah but after the summer for school. I don't know what I'll do."
"Me either." he said trying not to cry in front of my parents. "Remember our promise. No matter what happens we'll be together." he said breaking my heart. I nodded. "I promise."
When Two-Bit came back out with my suit case and put it in the car it was time for me to go. My parents hugged him and thanked him for taking care of me while they were gone and they thanked Ponyboy as well. Next I hugged Two-Bit goodbye thanking him for everything. Then Ponyboy and I kissed and hugged. We were both crying at this point.
"I love you Carolyn Rowe." he said. "I love you too Ponyboy Curtis." I said turning away to get in my parent's car.
My parents said one more thing to Two-Bit and Pony then got in the car and started it. I glanced in the window with tears in my eyes to see him crying with Two-Bit's arm around him.

They waved goodbye watching us drive away. I waved back and if it was possible I was already missing all of them. "You'll see him again." My mom said gently. I was happy to see my parents but I missed Ponyboy and those boys with all my heart.
