Ponyboy's POV:

The next day Carolyn signed into my classes just for the week so she wouldn't fall behind in her subjects back at home. We got many stares from people and I got asked if she was my girl friend and what she was doing here. I answered the first question to people but not the second.

It was the end of the day when we walked out and we saw Cherry look at us and walk away. It was a little disappointing but we understood why she ignored us.

"Common lets go," Carolyn said hugging me from the side. "Hey Ponyboy," we stopped and turned around to see my english teacher.

"Hi Mr. Simes." I said with no enthusiam.

"Hello Carolyn

"Hello Carolyn." He said. He started talking to me about my grade from the week of school I missed.

"Yeah, I know I'm doin' lousy." I said rubbing my forehead holdin' my books. He told me that I was flunkin' but under the conditions that if I wrote a good term paper he'd pass me with a C.

"Like what a research paper?"

"No more like a personal experience." He said and walked away. "Great, my first trip to the zoo." I said making Carolyn laugh.

I went with her to Two-Bit's and we were home alone.

"So what are you gonna write about?" She smiled stepping close to me.  "I dunno," I said blushing rubbing my forehead. "You maybe?" I shrugged.

Before I knew it she was kissing me. I gently grabbed her waist pulling her closer to me. We continued kissing when we backed into the wall. She helped me take off my blue bomber jacket. We went to one of the bed rooms in Two-Bit's house. I half helped and half watched her remove her shirt. I couldn't help but look at her chest. I'd never seen a girl in a bra without a shirt before. Then my red shirt came off. She laid down under me. I moved her hair away from her blue eyes. I kissed her more when we stopped to the sound of the door of the house opening.

We both quickly threw our shirts back on. Trying to act natural. Not that we cared what the other guys thought but with Carolyn being my first girlfriend they liked to tease me about this stuff and Two-Bit was a little protective over Carolyn.

He came in the room right as we were about to walk out.

"Hey man how's it-" he stopped when he saw Carolyn behind me sitting on the bed with her legs crossed. "We were just changin' the sheets is all." I said awkwardly. Two-Bit knew exactly what was going on. I was such a bad liar.

"Yeah we're done now." She smiled and stood up crossing her arms and walking past the both of us.

"I'm not a dumb ass man, you guys wanna do your thing, just do it in your room next time

"I'm not a dumb ass man, you guys wanna do your thing, just do it in your room next time." he smirked patting my back making me turn. "Gotcha." I said in a monotone walking away from him.

We went back outside and walked around town. "Changing the sheets?" she smiled about to laugh.

"Yeah I know that was a dumb lousy excuse." I smirked grabbing her hand. "You make the excuse next time."

"I will. Hopefully we can go somewhere more private."

"Yeah they're always around. Sounds lame but they make a fool of me 'cause... well ya know... you're my first..."

"Girlfriend?" she finished.

"Yeah."

"You're my first boyfriend."

"Yeah but no one's makin' you feel foolish."

"My parents did a little. The boys i'll get over it Pony. It's cause we just started and you said you barely ever talked to girls."

"That is true." I smiled.

"Seriously why didn't you talk to girls before?"

"I dunno I guess 'cause I'm surrounded by the guys. I never was around girls enough that's why I was shy."

"That's so cute." She said leaning on me making me blush.

"Yeah, yeah, I know

"Yeah, yeah, I know."

"You didn't seem that shy with me."

"Well I was and I wasn't,"  I said. "but I'm not now!"

"I knew that." she smiled as we walked into a diner.
