Chapter Three

Dr. Gordon asks me for a third time, "Lisa are you going to answer us?" Finally I answer them, "Why should I" Dr. Gordon explained her right away, " Cause Lisa we need to know." I pretend to zip my mouth shut with a zipper like I'm not telling anything. Dr. Gordon was getting very upset but was trying his hardest to hide it. Dr. Gordon snaps, "Lisa listen to me ok? You better tell me if you went and seen Chase or not." "I don't need to tell you nothing, and you can't do anything about it," I answered

Nurse Morgan says to me, "Please Lisa?" I look at Dr. Gordon and say, "I remember the crash." Everyone was shocked at what I just said. They thought I was losing my memory completely, but I keep having nightmares about it. All I said was, "Chase" They knew about me seeing him they wanted to know if I remembered. I did, so I asked, "Can I see him?" Dr. Gordon said, " Yes you can Lisa I would like to see where this is going." Dr. Gordon, Nurse Morgan, and I all walked to Chase's room.

Dr. Gordon told the nurses something I didn't hear cause I was busy daydreaming about Chase and I talking then all of a sudden, Chase's door opens and when he sees me he grins and says, "Hey." I was being stupid and did a little wave. I look behind me, and no one is with me, Dr. Gordon and the nurses left me with Chase....they left me alone with him....Chase saw that I was alone and asked, "Do you want to come in?" I said, "Sure" I walked inside and thought a messy room, but no it was spotless. I was shocked..... Chase asked me if I got caught and I said, "No." I got the courage and asked Chase, "Can you try and tell me about the crash, please? I want to know more."

Chase bowed his head and said, "I was in the driver's back seat when it happened. Do you remember us always playing at your house or mine? Because I do it was super fun playing with you Lisa."

Lisa is speechless she doesn't remember Chase or anything he just said. Chase sees the look on Lisa's face and asks her if she's ok and Lisa says, "Yeah I'm fine I just better go....." Chase begs Lisa, "....Please....Lisa, please wait......" Lisa starts to leave when she feels Chase's hand grab her arm pull her towards him and kisses Lisa gently on the lips.

When they break Lisa just walks out the door and gets five steps when she hears a door open, she looks behind her, and Chase is following her. Lisa breaks into a run then all of a sudden she feels a sharp pain in her left leg she looks down, and she sees blood. Lisa thinks to herself, "...heck....no....." Then Lisa says to herself, "I hate garbage cans so much...." She looks back, and Chase is not there, then she turns her head forward, and she is startled because Chase is in front of her with one eyebrow raised. Chase asks Lisa, "Why are you running with a bad leg Lisa?"

Lisa doesn't say anything for a moment then she answers him by saying, "Why are you following me, Chase?" Chase only smiles at Lisa and says, "Lisa I know you can't remember me, but I had this big crush on you, and I still do. When you bumped into me, I knew it was you."

Lisa asked this to Chase, "Why Chase? Why? No, answer me this Chase, Do you know that my mom died because of the crash? I bet you didn't." Chase can only stutter his response to Lisa, "....L-Lisa....I didn't know about....An-your mom I'm so sorry." Then Lisa starts crying into her hands and falls to the floor on her knees. Lisa says in between sobs, "W-Why?....Chase why did she leave me?......I'm all alone Chase helps me....Please....." Chase walks over to Lisa and bends down and lifts her chin up and tells Lisa, " You're going to be okay Lisa I will make sure." Lisa says, "....o-ok... Ch-Ch-Chase..."

When Lisa finally calmed down, Chase and Lisa were talking on a bench, and Lisa got a little upset whenever her mom was brought up. But Chase and I had a lot in common. They told and spoke to what seemed like hours then Chase stood up helped Lisa up and brought Lisa to her room said, "Goodnight" to each other and both went to bed.
