Chapter 25, The bad boy.

Y/N's POV:

I am currently in the middle of a very serious conversation with Sasha and Teranah about weird food combinations. Gene and Zenix are trying to shut us up. Gene and I have gotten closer these past few weeks. We kiss and all of that. I think we might be dating? I'll ask him about it later. I stop talking to the girls and look at the sunset. From the park, you can always see the sunset best. I randomly started thinking about Laurance.

"Soooo, Y/N, pickles and oreos? Yes or no?" Sasha says turning off my sad thoughts

"Well, I have no answer until I try it!" I say

"I tried it once. I almost died." Zenix says

"No one would miss you anyways." Teranah says

We all laugh while I high-five Teranah and Sasha. Well, Zenix didn't laugh, his face flushed a slight red from what I guessed was anger.

Everyone starts arguing and Gene uses that moment to pull me away from our friends.

"Y/N. Are we dating?" He asks with something I could recognise as hope in his voice

"Do you want us to date?" I ask

"Duh! You are the prettiest girl I have ever known! If I had to, I would've ditched the Shadow Knights so that we can be together!"

"Aww! Thanks Gene!" I say and I hug him

"You didn't answer my question." He looks at me with a mischievous smile.

"Take me out first." I say, smiling that smile of his right back at him.

 "Hmmm, fine. Only because you're Y/N." He says smiling and we walk back to the group while holding hands.

Laurance's POV:

I just heard Gene and Y/N's little talk. She sounds happier. I'm not happier though. I'm worse. Every time I see her so happy, it reminds of the times I made her happy. Well, those are over, thanks to me. At least Cadenza has started talking to me again. So I have Dante and Cadenza kind of on my side. I just told my dad that I've been in a rough patch with Y/N. He doesn't need to know the truth.  

Y/N's POV:

After the meeting, I went home. I told my whole family about me joining the club a few days ago. My mom thinks that's cool only because she believes I get to wear a leather jacket and look cool or something. My dad still isn't sure about it, but I get it. As to my brothers', Vylad is worried but doesn't know what to do, Zane is jealous and well, Garroth, is messed up in his own problems right now. After Laurance and Garroth stopped being friends, Garroth hasn't been himself. He isn't his usual cheery self. He's acting very gloomy, grumpy and he cries. Anything that reminds him of Laurance and what Laurance did to me, Garroth destroys it. No joke, full on annihilation of said object.  I haven't told Garroth and I need to also tell him about Gene and I's, relationship. I build up enough courage and go up to his room and knock.

"*sniff* C-Come in." I hear his once happy voice say trough the dark blue door.

"Garroth? I need to tell you something." I say and enter his room

I see him sitting down near his window, his back towards me. His room was a mess, pictures of Laurance and him together. Even I was in some of them. Those pictures were ripped and scattered all across the room. I sit next to him and hug him. He hugs back, hard. As if he'd been waiting to get a hug from me for a long time.

"Garroth, I joined the Shadow Knights." I said

"I would have guessed. You were out of the house often, and Zane was acting jealous after you would leave. And he could be jealous from two things. One, some ponies or two, the Shadow Knights. I guessed it would be the second one, because he outgrew those ponies, right?" My blonde sibling asks

"I would guess he has. Garroth, I think Gene and I... we might be... we might have... feelings for each-other." I say

"The bad boy? I did not expect that from you. Listen to me very carefully. Gene has proven he cares for you, doesn't mean I like him though. He better make that date of yours good and amazing for you. He is taking you on a date, right?" He says

"Yes, yes he is."

"Good. He better treat you right or else... Wait. You seem happier." He says looking at my eyes

I just stay there quietly thinking about how he isn't happy but I am.

"Sis, I love you, but I unless you have something else to tell me, please leave." He says as I hug him

I leave his room and close the door.

"How is he?" Vylad says behind me, making me jump

"VYLAD!" I yell

"Sorry, it's just he hasn't come out in a few days." he says

"He's fine. He's hurt, but he's fine." I say

"Be careful with that Gene fellow though." My half-brother says

"You heard?!" I ask

"Duh! I was eavesdropping!" 

"So first she takes my spot in the Shadow Knights and now she's going to date their leader?! Whyyyyy?!" I hear Zane say from his room

"OH SHUT UP EMO!" I yell

"THAT'S IT!" Zane yells out of his room and runs out of it

"Nooooo!!!" I yell and laugh while I run down the stairs Zane and Vylad following behind me.

I quickly put on my shoes and run out of the house. I leave the door open and my younger siblings run out. I run across the street and start running towards the park. I look back and don't see Zane and Vylad. I bump into someone.

"Oh! I'm so sorry miss! I wasn't watching and I-" I turn around when I hear a certain soothing voice. His voice.

"Bye." I say and I start walking to my house.

"I made a mistake!" He says

"It took you a month to realise?!" I yell back and I turn around to face him, only to realise he was right behind me.

"Y/N, stop running from me, please. I want to be anything but enemies. Please." He says and I look up at his sky blue eyes and see tears escaping them.

"Healing takes time. Learn that, Casanova. See ya." I walk away, angry

"I..Uh..b-bye...." He says before I couldn't hear him anymore

Laurance's POV:

On the bright side, at least I heard her beautiful voice again. I better get home. It's almost time for supper. Before I go home, I see the last bit of the sunset and it reminds me of Y/N. Poor Y/N.
