Chapter 32, Smells like home ❤️

Y/N's POV:

After a few hours of catching up with everyone, mainly my family though, since I'd see all my friends at school anyways, they let me sleep in the hospital. Laurance, on the other hand, insisted to stay with me to keep me company and make sure I'm okay and safe. It was probably now around midnight and Laurance and I were in the middle of a conversation when a knock was heard on the door. 

"You expecting somebody?" He asks

"Not really, except if I forgot... You?"

"Nah" He answers back

"I'll open it, you should stay in bed" and with that, he gets up

I hear the door click open and I turn my head when I hear Laurance growl.

"Hi princess, long time no see."

After I made Laurance get Gene an ice pack, much to his annoyance, Gene sat down next to me, while his left cheek started getting blue and he started apologizing. Not that I was listening, I didn't want to anyways, he didn't deserve my attention or my forgiveness. He almost killed me for Irene's sake and they just let him off easy! I decided to stare outside my window instead.

"Are you even listening?" He asked

"Honestly?"

"Yes please"

"No, I'm not" I smirked at him

"She shouldn't forgive you anyways, y'know?" Laurance says, coming in while throwing the ice pack on top of Gene's head

"And why not?"

"YOU ALMOST KILLED ME, DUMBA-" 

"Stop yelling Y/N, also, no swear words, much less in a hospital." Laurance reminded me

"Right, sorry, but you did almost kill me, so no, not forgiving you or listening to you. Much less Ivy, she's a bitch." I say

"I was going to stop you, but you're right in every single way, even about Ivy." Brunette adds

"Ugh, why are girls so complicated?" Gene asks to the ceiling 

"I think it's because you have no experience dating them or anything along those lines," Laurance says and we both started laughing

"OH NO, SHE DIDN'T!" I whisper-yell while laughing

"OH YES SHE DID" Laurance answers sassily while making sassy hand gestures and still laughing 

"What in the world is happening and why did I decide to visit you two at midnight in the first place-"

I fall off the bed. I prepare for collision with the floor, but it doesn't come. I open one of my two closed eyes and I see Laurance staring at me, grinning like an idiot.

"Careful, N/N, you could've seriously hurt yourself there." He says with such a flirty and sexy voice and places me on the bed, while I'm blushing like a tomato

"OH AND NOW YOU TWO ARE FLIRTING! I SHOULD LEAVE BEFORE YOU START MAKING OUT," Gene yells

I hit his shoulder for yelling and he winces.

"We weren't flirting, you idiot, " I tell him

"Righttt "

"Anyways, since you won't forgive me or listen to me, I'll just leave you both. See you at school princess, and you," he points at Laurance "what you started isn't over." He grins a worrying smile and leaves the room, slowly and quietly closing it.
