Chapter 34, Eventful (Part 1)

WARNING: PUNCHING, SOME CURSE WORDS AND BLOOD AHEAD.

Laurance's POV:

After playing games for a while, Katelyn called us and invited us to hang out at a restaurant and catch up with the whole group. This "whole group" consisting of me, Y/N, Garroth, Dante, Travis, Anastasia, Katelyn, Aphmau and Kawaii-Chan.  We were going to eat at some restaurant and afterwards just kind of linger around town until the early hours of the morning. Dante was the one that got called by Katelyn and told me and the two twins. Y/N ran to her room the second she found out, yelling out that she had nothing to wear. 30 minutes later, she came back to Garroth's room, with a completely new outfit and slight makeup on. I stopped playing the video game, the controller long forgotten on Garroth's bed and I just stopped and stared at the girl in front of me. No, scratch that. With the way she was looking at the moment, she looked like a young woman. I stared, mouth open at the girl I promised I would never care for in such a way ever again. I was blushing and I knew it, due to the warm feeling I was feeling all over my face. She giggled and came over to me and closed my mouth. Then she sat down next to Dante. I turned around to look at Dante and he seemed to have the same reaction as me. Garroth was the only one unphased by his sister, obviously, and when I came back to my senses, I realized he was laughing at me and my blue-haired friend. 

"You guys seriously need to calm your hormones. Laurance, you have girls all around you and Dante, you're starting to get fangirls. Why gape at my sister out of all the girls you could choose?" Garroth teases

I punched his arm at that and told him I'm going to change at home and Dante followed me. All I heard at the end is Garroth and Y/N laughing and something, or somebody, falling off the bed on the floor with a loud "thump". I sighed and left for my house, Dante leaving in the other direction. 

About 20 minutes later, Dante and I were both outside the Ro'Meave house, with both twins next to us, sitting on the porch and waiting for Katelyn to text us where we would be meeting. We got the location soon after and we left. Surprisingly, Y/N took my hand and got on her tippy toes, because of the height difference, to whisper "I'm sorry again" and sweetly kissing my cheek. Trying not to like her would be harder than expected. I turned around to make sure Dante and Garroth didn't notice, but to my dismay, they had and were currently smiling at me cheekily and smirking. We got to the restaurant and saw our friends sitting outside, waiting for us, I'm guessing. Surprisingly, there was somebody next to Aph who looked much older than us, I'm guessing he was Aaron, the guy Y/N had mentioned a long time ago. She had described him as handsome, and he was just that, no doubt. I stared at him and he did the same at me and I quietly growled, my hold on Y/N's hand tightening, which made her wince. 

"Sorry!" I look at her and repeat the apology 

She smiles while mouthing "it's okay" and we walk over to the group.

Aaron gets up to greet us first.

"Hi, Y/N nice to see you again." He greets her as his eyes linger on her body for a time that I did not appreciate. 

"Hey, Garroth, Dante and you must be the ex, Laurance." He says while finally looking at me.

He looks at me with something that looked like mischief in his eyes. 

I nodded. 

"That's me. But we're friends now, so please don't call me her ex." I say

"Why shouldn't I? At least I know she's single." He smirks at me

"Hey there, bud. That's my sister you're talking about." Garroth warns 

"Yeah? Well, sophomore, show respect to your fellow seniors." Aaron snarls and I swear I could see his eyes change colour
