Chapter 35, Eventful (Part 2)

Y/N's POV:

You could say Laurance and I had a pretty interesting weekend. It was now Monday. My first day back at my boring high school, back to my stressful exams and quizzes. I might be too excited. 

"Hey princess," Said Laurance, snapping me out of my thinking

I realize I had been thinking for longer than expected and that I was already in front of our school.

"At least it hasn't changed." I notice

"Yeah, it really hasn't." He responds

"I hate that I'm saying this, but I missed it."

"I missed you."

I look up at the boy in front of me.

"Lauran-"

"HEY Y/N!" I hear Dante yell from somewhere

I turn to the sound of his voice and notice the blue-haired boy running my way. I run over to him and give him a hug.

"Hey Dante," I say, though it is muffled by the fact that he is much taller and my head is against his chest.

"You guys should hide. Staying as close as you two and at school could cause problems. KC's coming soon." Dante informs

I don't pull away from his hug.

"I'm away from Laurance right now," I say

"Yeah, sadly," Laurance adds

"Shut up, buddy. I like her hugs too." Dante says

Dante pulls away from me and goes over to Laurance and they start fighting very sassily. I find myself laughing and soon I feel myself being hugged from the back.

"Hey there Y/N," I hear Travis from behind me

I'm the tallest of all the girls in our group of friends but I'm still shorter than all the guys. Even Travis, who's one year younger than me.

"Hey Trav, how are you?" I asked turning my head sideways so that I could get a look at the white-haired boy

He smiles widely when he sees I'm looking at him.

"I'm good. I'm very glad you're back here, it got boring without your jokes." He informs

"Thank you, you're very sweet. But why are all the guys I've seen today up until now very clingy and are all hugging me? Are you guys planning something? Or worse, have you done something?" 

"Very funny, Y/N. Why would you ever even think that? We would never dare do that."

"You're a horrible liar."

"Takes one to know one, Y/N."

"That's unfair Travis, you know I hate when people tease me for being a bad liar."

"Hey, there good friends! How are you both on this fine morning?" Katelyn says while coming over to us

"I already have a few problems. You're too formal, you're too nice for it to be a Monday and you're talking to Travis, so why are you so happy?" I say

"Can't I be happy and nice to my friends, Y/N?" She asks

"You can, but this is very suspicious. Did you guys commit murder?" I ask

"No? Not yet anyways, depends on whether the guys will finish decoratin-" Travis gets cut off

"Shut up Travis, before I throw a volleyball at your head," Katelyn warns
