 First Day as a Diva

I remember, my 16th Birthday, somehow my parents got enough money to give me a SUPER Sweet 16, it was the best day of my entire life! It was also the day that changed my life forever. I had a guest celebrity coming to my Sweet 16, none other than freaking DWAYNE “THE ROCK” Johnson, the best entertainer to ever live! I had collections of movies he starred in, and all his collectible items! Somehow my parents always managed to get me his merchandise, of course I was grateful but I didn’t want them to go out of their way for me. Well turns out, they weren’t going out of their way for me. On my 16th birthday I found out who my real father was: Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. I remember that moment vividly.

My adoptive father introduced him, and Dwayne stepped on stage and gave me a huge hug, I was almost crushed due to his humongous muscles, but I didn’t care! Dwayne was my freggin’ idol! And then Dwayne went on to his speech I remember every word perfectly “Now Bianca, such a pretty name by the way, you remind me of someone. Now, I know we just met but believe me, I have heard a lot about you. You’re on the Dean’s List at school, with a 3.9 GPA, you are also a student athlete that takes part in Track and Field. You starred in two school productions, that were the best selling plays the school has had in years! Your drive must be amazing to pull off all of this stuff so successfully! And you know who that reminds me of? Me. I see shades of me inside of you, and you know why?” that is when he pulled up a picture of him when he was in his 20s and he was holding a baby, and that baby was me. I knew it because I saw so many baby pictures of me. My tears couldn’t be contained, they rushed out onto my face like Niagra Falls. “You’re my daughter, Bianca Le’ia Johnson, my firstborn.” He then extended his arms to embrace me, but this hug was different than the first, I didn’t feel like I met a celebrity; I felt like I was meeting the most important man in my life, and he was because he's my biological father.

Seven years later, I am a WWE Diva. It has been my dream of mine for as long as I can remember, which makes sense now because wrestling runs in my blood. My family’s wrestling lineage started off with High Chief Peter Maivia, who was “blood brothers” with Reverend Anoa'i Amituana'i. His sons Afa and Sika, regarded my great grandfather as their uncle. Then my grandfather, Peter Maivia adopted a girl named Ata, who later married Rocky Johnson, and well I think you know who their son was. To put it shortly, my grandfather and Reverend Amituana’i were brothers from another mother, and all his kids and their kids recognized the offspring of the Maivia lineage as family, and a lot of the younger generations decided they wanted to go into professional wrestling. I always thought being a WWE Diva would just be another dream, but when I found out Dwayne Johnson was my father, and my dream looked more achievable.

Now I know there are rumors ALREADY going around in the WWE locker room. “Oh, she is Dwayne Johnson’s daughter of course she is here!” “I bet she will win the Divas Championship on her first day, Vince loves Dwayne.” But the Superstars and Divas don’t even know the whole story.

My dad, Dwayne Johnson (I swear I will never get over that) managed to keep my relationship to him very hush hush. No one knew about me, only his mother, Ata. It wasn’t until I recently joined WWE’s new NXT Program when the truth was spilled by Vince himself. I am only 23 years old but I have been training since I was 16. My adoptive family moved me to Mineola, FL so I could be trained by the Wild Samoans,  Afa and Sika, who were basically my great uncles. Vince was reluctant to put me on the main roster, but my dad heard rumors about Paige being brought to the main roster, and she was a little younger than me. My dad, Dwayne Johnson, ended up convincing Vince, the devil himself, to bring me up to the main roster and it worked!

My debut was today, and I had no idea how to feel. I was mostly overwhelmed because I trained vigorously for 7 whole years all for this very moment, it was quite stressful actually. On the other hand I was ecstatic! This was my dream, this was MY moment; it may very well be the most important moment in my life. What made it even better is that my dad was here today; he got a break from filming his most current movie to introduce me to the WWE universe! Words could not describe how happy I was! We even got the opening segment for the Monday Night Raw after the Royal Rumble. Someone on the WWE Creative Board had to recognize they screwed up at the Royal Rumble so they asked my dad to, somewhat, lighten the mood of the WWE Universe.

When my dad’s music hit the crowd went absolutely nuts! When he got to the ring he did his usual thing, walk around the ring, say some catchphrases on the mic and, of course, raise that eyebrow of his. “Alright, alright. The most electrifying man in the world, has an electrifying message for the people! Lots of people don’t know, but when The Rock was playing football for the University of Miami, that he got a surprise, a big surprise. And this morning I woke up and thought-- well, the people have been with me for so long why not share secret with them! So now I present to you, my daughter Bianca Le’ia Johnson!” Then my entrance music hit, I got a loud cheer(only cause of my father) but either way I was ecstatic! I made my way down the ramp and slid into the ring, to run into an embrace from my dad. I started to cry because the moment was so surreal. The crowd even started to “Awwwwh” Suddenly, The Shield’s entrance music hit.. No doubt they were mad at their loss at the Royal Rumble, my dad issued me out of the ring and I watched him take one hell of a beating. It was 3-on-1 and unfortunately, the Great One, the People’s Champ, couldn’t even overcome the Hounds of Justice.

Later on in the night I had to do an interview with Renee Young whom, I might add, is one of my best friends! She asked me how my dad was doing and I told her the doctors said he, sadly, won’t be making any PPV re-debuts anytime soon. (of course he wasn’t he’s a freaking moviestar) And then she went on and asked me how it felt to be a WWE Diva but then everything went black.
