First Injury

I slowly fluttered my eyes open and noticed I was in the doctor's office. "My... Head... Feels... Like... A... Ripe Watermelon... Reading to freaking split." I stated.

"It could've ended up a lot worse, sweetheart." A familiar voice said. It was my boyfriend CJ Parker from NXT!

"Babe!" I exclaimed, "Why are you here? How are you here?"

"I couldn't miss my girl's WWE debut!" he said.

"My debut is going to be soon be followed by my retirement." I winced. My head was throbbing and my brain even ached.

"Nonsense! You took that hit like the most seasoned pro I have ever seen, you just weren't expecting it is all." My dad said.

"Daddy!" I said overjoyed. At first there was an awkward silence in the room, this was the first time they met. My dad then stepped closer to CJ, and CJ looked like he was going to wet his pants! Then my dad extended his hand and said "Nice to finally meet'cha CJ!"

I then let out a sigh, I didn't know what to expect, with my dad being, well who he is. My dad then said "Well, babygirl, I got some bad news. Vince wants you to stick it on in NXT a while longer."

"SERIOUSLY?!" I shrieked. I was outraged! How could I be going back to NXT? Its not my fault that some lunatic decided to deliver a cheapshot while I was being interviewed.

"Yeah, he said maybe he rushed you into the big leagues. I told him I could have her babysit Simone until I think she is ready." He said with a smirk.

I had the coldest stare on my face, it was not the time to joke especially about something as vile as babysitting a teenager "Oh real funny, dad! Laugh it up. I got hurt on my first day of work."

"I am just messing! But seriously. Maybe you should wait a little longer in NXT. Develop a morale with fans, and when you have your second WWE Debut, well then you can do it right." He explained.

"Fine, fine. I guess it's for the best" I reluctantly said.

"Now you can spend more time with your beau." He said pointing to CJ. CJ then winked at me, my father had a disapproved.

"CJ, we should schedule a date of our own, I could teach you a thing or two about wrestling and being a gentleman." my dad said sternly.

"Affirmative, Rocky." CJ said sarcastically.

"Its Mr. Johnson to you, don't hurt my firstborn, cause I'll beat you till you look like a stillborn." my dad said with a fierce look on his face, but he lightened up and flashed his pearly whites. "Now let me talk to my daughter."

"Yes sir, Mr. Johnson, see you around Bianca." CJ said while scattering out.

"You didn't have to scare him."

"See that is where you're wrong little lady, I don't care who the guy is, I gotta set him straight before anything happens."

"What do you mean?"

"Well I mean, he doesn't seem like the best men can offer."

"But I love him."

"I thought I loved somebody 23 years ago, and I did. We took things too fast, and then we got a little surprise"

"Oh, you're talking about me."

"Listen sweetie, you may be 23, but you could still make stupid mistake, and CJ just might be a stupid mistake."

"So you're saying I was a mistake?" I harshly said while holding back tears.

"No, you were just a surprise"

"I'm guessing the bad kind."

"No, and normally I would be mad at my own flesh and blood talking to me like that but I forget, she's an Anoa'i and the Anoa'i are a feisty bunch. We will never back down from anything, unexpected things make us stronger and better in the end and thats exactly what you did, made me better. I love you Bianca, don't you ever forget that. The only mistake I made with you, was letting you go. Trust when I say this, your great grandfather would be proud of having such a strong woman carrying out our wrestling legacy."

A tear strolled down my cheek. I didn't know what to say. The past seven years have been great getting to know him, well at least while I could. My dad embraced me "Don't cry. Everything happens for a reason, even being demoted. Now, put your Johnson smile on and be prepared for anything that comes your way! I love you Bianca, but I have to go. Remember, everything happens for a reason."

I sighed when he left, I wish there were more times when we could just have a talk. He was always so busy, and apparently he was busy and foolish 23 years ago. But he was right anyway, my dream being pushed back, is okay. WWE already has a promising Diva on the main roster, Skye Blackwood. I loved that chick. I have never spoken to her, but she is flawless in her matches. I would do anything to compete with her! I guess WWE wants to cycle in new Divas systematically... I respect that decision. I know I will be in the big leagues in no time, like my dad said I'm an Anoa'i and unexpected things make us stronger. I might have only physically been apart of the family for seven years of my life, but there was no denying that I had the fire all of them had regardless of them being absent most of my childhood. It didn't matter, blood is blood, DNA is DNA, and well my DNA says I'm bred for greatness and nothing will stop me from achieving it.
