Like Corey Said
"Bianca! Someone told me your back."
"Haha, yeah Renee. Who told you?"
"No one actually, I see you."
I looked around, I didn't see anyone in the corridor. "What do you mean?"
"Oops, wrong verb tense. I saw you, in Corey's car. What's up with that?"
"To give you the short side, he is the only man in my life that tries to care about me"
"Nonsense, Tony and Dwayne love you."
"I'm not so sure about that."
"What happened?"
"Nothing happened, Renee."
"Oh really? Are you telling me I don't know my best friend? I can't tell when she is obviously covering something up?"
I sighed, damned Canadians always had to be so nice. "Meet me at the usual?"
"Nope, we are not doing this at an ice cream place, I'm going to swing by your hotel. Be there in 10."
Before I got the chance to say anything, Renee hung up the phone. After that call I finally got enough strength to get up and open the door. Just as I was about to close it, a man's voice called to me "Tuafafine!" I turned around to see who it was, my favorite cousin Joe, but the rest of the world knows him as Roman Reigns.
"Leati!" I said happily as I ran up to him. "Why are your here?"
"The Shield has a brief stint in NXT this week, so I decided to stop by and see my favorite cousin."
"I'm so happy to see you!" I exclaimed. This is exactly what I needed, a male family member that I know loves me. I remember when we met, I was training with his dad and uncle at the Wild Samoan Training Center, we instantly connected. I referred to him tuanane which means brother in Samoan (a brother of a brother is uso, a brother of a sister is tuanane, while sister of a sister is uso and a sister of a brother is tuafafine)
"So we gonna chill in your room, or hit up that ice cream shop you love so much?"
"Ice crea--!! Ugh, I forgot, Renee is coming over so we can discuss recent events in my life."
"Girl talk?"
"Yeah." I said quietly.
Joe let out a little laugh. "The 7 years I've known you, and I have never seen or heard about you taking part in 'girl talk' You tell your mom and dad everything. Wait, something must be really serious then."
I nodded my head as a tear rolled down my cheek.
"Tuafafine, I am so sorry. Come here." Joe extended his arms, and embraced me. "Lets go to your room and wait for Renee."
I flopped on the couch, and Joe sat next to me. I laid my head on his chest, and he just rubbed my back. I needed someone, and of course Joe was right there like when I was younger. I wasn't ready to tell anyone else what happened. I still wasn't over what happened with Corey, and that was half an hour ago. But I knew if there was anyone else that cared about me as much as Corey says he does, it would be Joe and Renee.
After a few minutes, there was a knock on the door. I was going to get up to answer, but Joe gently pulled me back onto the couch, and got up to answer.
"Hey Renee, Bianca is in here."
"What, no babygirl?" Renee flirted.
Joe let out a little chuckle, "No, Renee, that was for the purpose of business. Besides, I have a fiancee, remember?"
Renee sighed, "Well I guess all things must come to an end."
Joe rolled his eyes. When Renee saw what I had become, she immediately ran up to me.
"Bianca, dear! I have never seen you so sad before." She said with a shocked look on her face.
"Nothing like this has ever happened before." I said meekly.
She sat on the couch next to me and put me in her arms. "Sweetheart, tell me what is wrong."
I started off with telling Renee about CJ... "I had to end it there, before anything serious happened."
Renee was fuming at this point. "That punk of a man!"
Joe had a frustrated look on his face. "Did he put his hands on you?"
"It wasn't anything seriou--"
"It could've been Bianca!" Joe yelled, he then regained composure and said "I'm glad you were woman enough to end it."
"Is that it? Is that the only thing getting you so worked up?" Renee asked, while putting her hand on my shoulder.
"Unfortunately, no."
"Tell me more."
I then went on to tell the story of my dad. "After I saw that, I couldn't take it, I couldn't even stay home."
"Tony? Unfaithful? I would have never thought." Renee said exasperated.
"Are you sure it was a date? You said he was going on a business meeting." Joe asked.
"Yes, Joe. If it was a business meeting, why wasn't that woman in business attire? Besides, he said it the day before, why would the business meeting last day and night? And WHY was he at his favorite restaurant? It was a modest crabshack, nothing too fancy. And the man was wearing a damn hat! I could barely even tell it was him! Obviously he didn't want anyone to know it was him!" I said frustrated.
"Sorry, Bianca. I met your dad a couple of times and he seemed like an honest man completely devoted to his family."
"I feel the same way about, Tony." Renee said.
I got up from the couch. "Did you talk to him?" Renee asked.
I turned around and yelled. "Of course not! What was I supposed to say? I found out my dad was cheating on my mom! He abandoned me! This is the 2nd time I've been abandoned by a father." I crumbled down to the floor. Joe came to my side and picked me up.
"This is more than just finding Tony in the crabshack, huh?" Joe asked. I meekly nodded my head.
"You need to talk to both of your dads, especially Dwayne. You feel abandoned and have no right to! I've seen the way they look at you, with such pride! They know they created a wonderful woman." Renee said, while smiling.
I wiped the tears from my face. "I wish it was that simple, Dwayne is an actor and I'm pretty sure he is filming for a movie right now."
"He'll make time for you, I promise." Joe said, reassuringly.
"Okay, what about Tony?" I asked.
"Tony is a phone call away."
"Not unless he is out with that tramp."
"Bianca!" Joe said sternly, "This is not you."
I looked down to the ground, ashamed. Joe was right, I needed to talk to my dad 'Just like Corey said' I thought.
