Deceived
I opened my eyes and saw that I was in an unfamiliar place. I got out of the cot I was laying on and looked around the room, it seemed like a small apartment. I saw a window and then peered out of it to see a beautiful shore line, and the bright Florida sun. I can't recall all of what happened last night, but it didn't matter because seeing the horizon made me smile. The pure beauty, that is nature. I walked outside of the building, to see that I was in Blue's shack. I recognized a few people from last night, all except three. Sunshine, Spirit and CJ. I stretched my arms overhead and proceeded onto the beach, to find my clothes and phone. I was greeted by Blue, was was holding my phone and clothes. "Hey Felicity, just wanted to let you know that Spirit left with Sunshine after you fell asleep. In fact she was the one to carry you to my shack. I thought she was going to stay with you until you awoke, but she said her goodbyes and departed."
"Why?" I asked stunned.
"She said, she experienced all she could from this beach and told me she was going to go where the wind would take her. Of course Sunshine followed."
I was a little upset at the fact Spirit didn't say goodbye. I was touched that she carried me to the shack, but she didn't say goodbye to me personally. Spirit, was the type of individual everyone needed in their life, and I'm upset that she went away, and from what Blue said it sounded permanent. I'm not going to lie, I was attracted to her, but not just sexually, on a metaphysical level. She allowed me to forget about all the stress in my life, and just focus on the beauty of life. But I guess what good must come to an end, even though we didn't know each other much I know I will miss her dearly.
"Oh, almost forgot she wanted me to give you this." Blue pulled out the pua necklace that Spirit wore. "I was with her when she first got that necklace. We were both young, finally on our own away from our conformist parents. She got it from a love interest, that I never met; but the way Spirit described them, you would've thought they were too good to be true. That love interest is the reason why I bought this beach after my parents passed away, and they were the reason why I am who I am today and why Spirit is who she is." Blue sighed, "Spirit always said she was going to give the necklace to a newly freed spirit, the same reason she got the necklace in the first place. And well, I am guessing that newly freed spirit is you. Blue then handed me the necklace, I closely examined it and its beauty. I then put it close to my heart, because I know this necklace is what is going to keep me close to Spirit.
I was honored by her gift. "Wow, its amazing."
"Well, I should be getting you home."
"Yeah, just let me get dressed, okay?"
Blue then handed me my clothes, and I swiftly them back on and Blue handed me my phone. I checked it, and surprisingly there were no new notifications. None from my mom, dad, CJ, or Corey. I sighed, I really needed Corey at this moment. He was the only other individual to make me feel remotely the way Spirit had made me feel. "Come on Felicity! We gotta get you home!" Blue shouted. I nodded my head and ran over to his car and hopped in the passenger seat.

We were driving for what seemed like forever because my stomach hurt. I hadn't eaten in about 11 hours, so I was running on an empty tank, which wasn't good considering I have to eat quite the amount of calories if I want to stay strong and healthy. I couldn't bear the hunger anymore, my stomach let out a vicious growl.
"Whoa there, sounds like someone is hungry! Lets stop and get you something."
"Oh you don't have to."
"Its on the way there, no big deal."
"But I have no money on me."
"Felicity, I told you I love all of mother nature's children. And no, I just don't show my love through keeping the environment clean and committing acts of polygamy, I also do favors for my brother's and sister's."
"Hmmm, so mother nature accepts incest?" I sarcastically asked.
"Har, Har." Blue blandly said. "I thought you would've learned by now, Felicity."
He pulled up into a crabshack, I was familiar with this one. My dad took me here all the time when I was little, he said it was his favorite restaurant. I hopped out of Blue's jeep, then we made our way to the into the crabshack. As we entered I thought I saw a familiar face in the crowd, but he didn't seem to notice me so maybe my eyes were being weird with me. Blue and I made our way to a booth, I was closer to the face and it looked so familiar I just couldn't connect the face with a name. Besides, the person was wearing a hat anyway, so I couldn't see his eyes but everything else looked familiar. A waiter came and took our order, I already knew what I wanted because I got it every time. I fixed my eyes on the mystery face, who was that man? He was with a woman I have never seen before in my life. She had a nice tan, and nice shaped face but way too much makeup on, I couldn't really tell, but she seemed a little bit older than me. Her hair, was god awful, platinum blonde, it clashed with her skin color. I looked down and noticed what she was wearing, it was awful. She had a plunging v neck club dress, and I could tell by her gravity defying breast, that they were totally fake. That got me to thinking, was any thing about this woman real? I don't think any guy I knew would be acquaintances with her, well maybe CJ. I couldn't make out what the two were saying, but they were giggling. She was batting her fake eyelashes, probably sweet talking him. And of course, she was leaned forward, enhancing her already prevalent cleavage. I am about to puke at the sight of this Kim K, wannabe.
"You alright." Blue asked.
I snapped out of my daze. "Yeah, sorry. That man over there looks so familiar."
Blue turned around "The one with the fake?"
"Yeah."
"Stay here, I'll figure out who it is."
Blue then got up. He made his way to the couple. I couldn't make out what he was saying, but he got the man to shake his hand, and the girl extended hers and he kissed it. Her nails were god awful too! They were painted a vibrant red, but they had gold bedazzles, and the nails were so long, they could be classified as claws. 'Why would I know anyone that would be friends with a girl like that?!' I thought.
Blue came back to the table. "The man's name was Tony Ruiz, and the girl's name was Heather Smith."
"Did you just say Tony Ruiz?"
"Yeah, the name familiar?" Blue asked.
"Its my dad!" I was appalled, not even appalled, I was aghast. My father, who had been married to my mother long before they adopted me was cheating on my mom with a woman maybe 10 years older than me. I immediately got up and ran out of the crabshack, tears flooding my eyes.
