chapter 18

the next day

i come downstairs to see my mom and seth standing at the table. and my mom made me a huge breakfast. chocolate pancakes, milk, homemade whip cream and extra chocolate chips.

"mom you don't have to make a huge breakfast because of what happened, im fine." i say

"it's fine honey, you deserve it." she says while kissing my forehead.

"but i have to go to work. i will see you two after school" she says while putting her cup of coffee away and leaving.

"so i have to go, but i hope your day is great and text me or call me if you need me." he hugs me and walks out the door.

"well, yay nice breakfast by myself." i sit down and eat.

there is a knock at my door. as i open it i see my two best friends with the biggest smiles on there face.

"jessica!!" hunter and carrie say while giving me the biggest hug

"hey guys" i hug back.

"are you ok??" carrie asks

"yeah, im.. im actually pretty great." i say while smiling uncontrollably.

"oh and why is that?? ive never seen you smile that big since" he thinks. "ever.." he says while laughing

"whatever!" i say while slapping him.

"so?? spill the beans!" carrie says excitingly

okay.. should i tell them? i mean hunter absolutely hates him. but he honestly doesn't know anything about him, and he's helped me though a lot already. so i hope he is supportive.

okay here goes nothing..

"it's justin." i shout really quickly.

"justin?" hunter questions

"justin..? you mean new hottie justin bieber, justin??" she says while smiling so wide

"yeah.." i blush.

"what about justin though?" hunter sits down.

"justin.. he, he saw me laying there when i found sam and tracy. i was shouting "i can't do it anymore." and justin was there. he picked me up and took me to the nurse, he bought me soup, movies and a coke. he told me that he likes me, a lot. and he has ever since he saw me. i talked about sam and he still liked me, he's always been here for me. and hunter.. i know you're not the biggest fan of justin, but i like him too, a lot. and he is the only guy that has ever been able to put a real smile on my face. you see this smile? yeah.. this smile isn't fake! it's all real. and justin fills all the holes in my heart. he said he wants to take me on a proper date. and im gonna go." i say while taking a deep breath and smiling.

"wow, jess. you real like this boy don't ya?" carrie says

"yeah carrie.. i really do." i say while giggling just by the thought of him.

hunter still hasn't said anything. what's been going on with him?
