NIGHT AT "FLOWERS AND FELINES"

I closed my laptop right after I finished sending the articles that I was tasked to do for the day so that I could prepare myself for my date night with Lisa. We've been planning this since last month but it was postponed for almost five times already because my girlfriend had unexpected functions to attend to.

"Hey," she called out as she walked inside the room but her eyes seemed to be busy wandering to some stuff she needs.

"Hey... So saan tayo later?"

Tila nagtaka naman siya sa tanong ko at binigyan niya ako ng naguguluhang tingin.

"Later?... Oh shucks, sowee I forgot. I have a gig tonight and my high school friends are coming over so I cannot afford to ditch it. Tomorrow I'm so free. Bawi na lang ako."

And there goes another excuse na rinding-rindi na akong marinig kaya napailing na lang ako.

"Sorry na... Pwetty please?" she sweetly said while she is trying to sit on my lap facing me. After a while she kissed my chin, then my cheeks, and my nose.

Damn, I felt intoxicated again. Just like before... just like the first time she kissed me... just like the first time I kissed her back. The sensations are so intense that I feel like I'm going to explode. But something's missing because it's not as genuine anymore.

I know that she was expecting me to kiss her back but I did not... I did not give her a long kiss on her chin which is my favorite spot. I did not shower her cheeks with kisses. I did not claim her mouth for us to share sweet passionate kisses. Instead, I gave her a bitter smile and signaled that I need to stand which made her stand. Ganon pala ang pakiramdam when you're always being neglected. Nakakawalang gana rin pala dahil sobrang sanay ka nang matanggap ito.

"I'll just invite Irene, Chaeng, and the rest of the gang to go out later instead," I stated with the intention of including Chaeng's name just to see how she's going to react knowing that she had always hated this friend of mine because of her suspicion that the other lady has "HD" or hidden desire on me.

"Oooh-kay... Enjoy then."

I was disappointed of her response that I went out of the room and proceed to the kitchen to get myself a glass of cold water to chill my mind.

"Ladies and gentle gays, I would like to propose a shot for the resurrection of the soul of our girl Jennie. Finally, after a year ay sumama na rin siya sa ating walwal night... Whoooo!" Irene exclaimed with glee as she raises the shot glass filled with tequila. We're currently in a bar called "Flowers and Felines", one of the well-known gay bars in the metro. Along with us are our other friends Chaeng, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri.

I am currently having a blast dancing with my friends while having shots of tequila from time to time. I told myself that I'm going to loosen up tonight. If Lisa will be having fun with her friends tonight, so will I.

Wendy pulled me to the dance floor after we finished the second bottle of our tequila. Sumunod na rin sa likuran namin si Chaeng na maliit lang ang ininom mula pagdating namin. She's being a kill joy tonight, though. The rest of our friends just remained in our place.

"DJ turn up the muuuusiiiiiiiiiiiiiiic!" the MC declared and the crowd went crazy as the music started to once again fill the place.

Wooooooh" I sang with all my heart as I raise the bottle of beer that I'm holding while moving my body to the trance version of the Chainsmoker's "New York City".
