"We should totally order some milkshakes like they do in the movies," Brice suggests while gazing up from the menu. "What do you think?"
"I don't eat that much, so I don't mind sharing a milkshake," Seto replies, closing his menu.
Brice can't help but feel giddy like a teenage girl. Despite his bubbly and confident exterior, he was quite anxious. He could never consider being around the brunet tiresome: it was more of a wondrous challenge (in a good way, of course). So when the waitress came over and asked for their orders, he was ecstatic to reply.
Their "date" consisted of complaining about how long the service was, shitty pick-up lines, and playful insults, of course. When their food arrived, Seto found it quite awkward to share a milkshake with Brice, but at the same time, he didn't mind. The fries that Brice had ordered were good as well.
The blond ended up paying for their meal (which totaled to be nine dollars), while Seto paid a generous tip. The two left and headed towards Brice's place of residence. It wasn't that far of a walk, maybe about three or four minutes. He lived in an apartment complex on the fourth floor.
"Why is there so much paint on the floor?" Seto comments as the two step in.
"I'm minoring in modern art," Brice shrugs. "Colors are nice. Kinda hard to clean off the floor, though."
Seto releases a stifled laugh while shaking his head. "You're such a nerd."
"Says the guy who's in all honors classes," Brice argues. "Y'know, you never told me what instrument you play."
"Excuse me?"
"You're in orchestra."
There's a brief moment of silence before Seto sighs, "I play the cello and violin."
"That's really cool!" Brice exclaims, brightening up the atmosphere. "You should show me sometime!"
"Uh, you could come to my school's winter concert—"
"Hell yeah I'll show up!"
Seto rolls his eyes, "Alright, calm your tits. What time is it?"
Brice takes out his phone, "It's about ten o'clock. You told me you should be home by eleven, right?"
"Yeah," Seto nods his head. "Still got time to spare."
"We should totally watch Aladdin," Brice suggests as he rushes towards his living room. Seto takes note at the entertainment stand that's filled to the brim with DVDs and VHS tapes. He chuckles while watching Brice searching for the movie. "You've watched Aladdin before, right?"
"No," Seto shakes his head. Brice's eyes light up as he holds up the tape.
"You're gonna love it," Brice insists.
And that's how Seto found himself sitting on a couch, leaning against a blond who he has known for less than a week.
