Revenge (Completed)

Chapter 12

It's been two months since I left Scarlet. I've kept seeing the person in the cape everywhere I go. And everynight I have the same dream of Peter sacrificing Del. then I can never get back to sleep.

It's been awhile since I've seen Alex. I wasn't sure where he was. He could have died in the fire or he could have made it out in time and moved away. I'm not really sure.

I also dyed my hair blond. Little by little I change my appearence. I've still yet to get any leads on Peter and his assistant. Well, I might have one lead. Every few days a twoblood comes up missing. I have a feeling that Peter has gotten stronger since I saw him. He's been taking the power from all these twobloods and becoming a stronger demon. I don't know if I'll be able to beat him, but I have to try, for Del.

I was looking for a place to stay tonight, but alot of the Inns were to expensive. I decided to just go to a place to get some water then get back out on the road.

I sat down at the front counter and ordered a water. I sat there sipping it little by little. I wanted to rest for a while, while I drank my water. Just then a guy came up to me.

"Not again," I said to myself.

"Hey, you look sad. What's got you down?"

That's not what I expected, but it could just be a trick.

"Why do you want to know?"

"Because I care about people."

That's the exact opposit of Peter. But again It could be a trick.

"I don't have to tell you anything. So get lost."

"Well, sorry to bother you miss. Have a good night."

The guy then walked away. I finnished my water. I was getting ready to leave when I saw the person in the hooded cape run out the door. I grabbed my stuff and chased after him. There was no one on the road so I kept clear sight of him. He was surprizingly slower than usual. I grabbed their shoulder and stopped them.

"Who are you?"

The person didn't answer. Just then more people in hooded capes started to appear all around me. There were about nine of them when they stopped appearing. They all reached for there hoods to remove them. One by one removed their hood. And under each hood was... Alex.

This has to be an Illusion. This is just a trick by Peter and his assistant. Each of there eyes were red. My eyes started to water. This can't be. They all started talking.

"Here will be as far as you go, Kira."

They all then started comming at me at once. I can't beat them all. They all were right there when I woke up. I was sitting there in my blanket in the sand.

"It was a dream. They weren't real. And I hope it's true that it's not Alex under the hooded cape."

It was the middle of the night. I was surprized that I didn't have the dream about Del and Peter on that night. I wasn't going to be able to go back to sleep so I decided to just pack up my stuff and get back on the road to the next town.
