I wanted this all to just be a dream. I wanted to close my eyes and pinch myself and wake up in my bed. With Del sleeping in the bed across from mine. And mom and dad in the bedroom down the hall, but I knew it was all gone. I closed my eyes as tears swelled in my eyes.
"Let go," a voice whispered.
I opened my eyes not knowing what the voice ment. I looked up to see Alex and Scarlet up next to Aunt Krisy. Their eyes started to glow a brighter red, and they had evil smirks on their faces. The whole time that I thought I had kept Peter from knowing I was alive, I was wrong. Alex and Scarlet were under his control. That's why they both wanted to come with me. Come with me.
I felt rage fill in my heart. I ran at them. I was done with this. If I had to get rid of my friends too, to complete my revenge on Peter, then so be it.
I tried to punch Aunt Krisy, but she punched me just as hard as last time, but this time in the stomach. I flew back and Alex caught me. I looked up at him. His eyes were calm and normal. He looked at me with concern, just like he did when I returned to my house after I came from the market. He shook his head and looked at me again, his eyes being red again.
I tried to pull myself away from him, but it was no use. I looked up to see Scarlet coming at me with a knife. I closed my eyes waiting for the impact of the knife. Once i noticed that it had taken her too long to stab me, I looked up to see her standing there. Her eyes were normal, but filled with fear. She dropped the knife and turned to look at Peter and Aunt Krisy.
"I won't kill my friend!"
"Stupid brat," Peter said. "Krisy!"
Aunt Krisy looked at Peter and nodded. Then she looked at Scarlet. Aunt Krisy began to run at Scarlet, her fists in a bundle held up, filling with power.
"No!" I shouted, but she didn't listen.
I watched as it seem that everything went in slow motion. Aunt Krisy punched Scarlet in the gut with more power than what she did with me. I watched Scarlet fly back and land on the ground almost a mile away. That was worse then when she pushed me at the market. Tears filled my eyes. I let them flow out.
"How could you do this to so many innocent people?" I shouted through my tears.
"If you would have just given me Delila's power, then none of this would have happened."
"If I would have done that, then I would be breaking my promise!"
"You mean the promise to your mother? She isn't around anymore is she?"
I tried to pull away from Alex's grip again, but once again I couldn't.
"I hate you. You could have been better than this. We could have been a happy family like we used to be! But no, you have to go around killing my family!"
"It's time to shut you up for good," he began. "Krisy!"
She began running at me the same as she did with Scarlet. I looked up at Alex who still had red glowing in his eyes.
"Alex! Alex, snap out of it! Don't fall for these tricks!"
"He doesn't pay any attention to anyone but me," Peter said.
I looked back up and saw his eyes slowly return to normal. His grip on me began to loosen. I looked to see that Aunt Krisy was only yards away. I pulled away from Alex's grip. And just before Aunt Krisy could punch him, I grabbed his arm and pulled him out of the way. He fell to the ground and looked up at me. His eyes were normal.
"No!" Peter shouted.
