It had been weeks since I had seen anyone I knew. I've seen the hooded person everywhere. I had already given up on chasing them. I didn't know where I was. I have been traveling for months on end. Where could Peter be?
Just then I felt a heave pull on my heart. I fell to the ground. I looked up to see a dark cloud of evil appear. Could it be? I slowly tried to get up.
"Welcome, Kira."
I knew that voice. It was...
"Peter."
I snarled at the name as I watch him emerge out of the cloud. Along with him, was his assistant. Finally I had found them.
"What a nice surprise."
He began to walk closer to me. I stood there as he stopped right in front of me. I could feel a strong presence. Not from him, but from his assistant. He wasn't the one who sacrificed all those twobloods. It was her. I see what he's doing.
"Why did you change your appearence? Didn't want me to find you?"
He began walking around me. I watched him, making sure he wouldn't try to attack.
"I only have one thing to say to you, Peter."
"Oh, and what is that?"
"Why did you kill Del?"
"Because I wanted her power. I wanted to become a stronger demon." he said in a more angry voice this time. "Oh, but you just had to try and save her, and you took it away from me."
"How would you become a stronger demon?"
"Well, let's just say that the fire wasn't an accident."
I had to think for a second. I know the fire wasn't an accident. He was trying to... Wait! He means, when mom and dad died.
"What do you mean it wasn't an accident?!"
I was trying to keep my cool, but now I was getting irritated. I stared it to his eyes when they flashed a different color. It was the color of moms eyes.
"You beast!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.
I tried to punch him, but his assistant came up and punched me before I could. I skidded across the ground as dirt flew up. I got up. And looked at her. She now stood in front of Peter.
"You'll pay for what you did. I'll kill you, even if it's the last thing I do!"
I began to run at her when a strong wind began to push me back. I shielded my face from the dirt with my arms. When the wind stopped, I looked back up at Peter. Behind him was... Alex and Scarlet. Red filled their eyes.
"What did he do to them?" I whispered to myself.
"Remember them, Kira?"
They all started to give an evil laugh. This can't be happening. I tried to get my mind off them.
"Why did you have your assistant sacrifice all those twobloods? Why didn't you just do it yourself? Too afraid to fight me?"
"Oh, sweety. Stop referring to me as your Uncle's assistant. Don't you remember me?"
I just stared at her, trying to think if I did know her, but I didn't.
"Maybe this will help."
She gave an evil grin as she waved her hand over her face. Her hair went from blond to brown. Her eyes went from blue to green. Her lips went from full to thin, and it all came to me.
"No, this is a trick. You're not really her."
"And why wouldn't I be? Do you want proof?"
She pulled from under the top of her dress, the necklace I had made her as a small child. It was my first metal necklace. Mother had made enough money for me to go to the blacksmith and make a metal necklace like I had always wanted, but she had to stay home because she was sick, so my Aunt took me. I made the necklace for her.
"How do you have Krisy's necklace?" I shouted.
"Ugh, do I have to go over this again? Because I'm your Aunt Krisy."
I refused to believe this. This couldn't be true.
