Jack woke up around 8 A.M and tried to get up, realizing he wasn't in his room and feeling weight on his shoulder he looked over and noticed The Doctor nuzzling his head in the crook of Jack's neck. he decided it was too early to wake The Doctor up, after the emotional state he was in last night, Jack wasn't sure he'd want to get up at all. As Jack was trying to go back to sleep, The Doctor spoke up; "Jack if you want to get up I'll move"
"Oh I didn't know you were awake, um, no, if you're comfy you can stay"
The Doctor stretched a little and got up, sitting on the edge of the bed. Jack sat up too, beside the doctor and started to speak.
"Um so last night if you wanna talk we cou-" Jack was cut off by The Doctor gracefully sliding his hand to the back of Jack's neck and connecting their lips in a soft kiss. (This is such a shit make out scene I'm so sorry) Jack was startled at first with the complete bluntness of the situation but quickly snapped awake and kissed back, bringing his hands down to hold The Doctor's waist, pulling him in closer. they stayed ike this for what seemed like years, fireworks bursting in their mouths but was actually a mere couple of seconds until The Doctor broke off.
"Sorry.. I um... I'll go make some toast or something" The Doctor said, keeping his hazel eyes on jack.
Jack was stunned, staring at The Doctor as if he'd just said the most absurd thing ever
"I've never felt this way about someone before other than Rose" The Doctors eyes were glassy and Jack could tell he was holding back tears.
A LITTLE LATER
The Doctor had already left the room and was now preparing breakfast when the smoke alarm turned on, Jack rushed into the kitchen and The Doctor yelled "INTERNAL FANS ON"
The TARDIS obeyed and turned on the fans, sucking out all the black smoke.
"I tried to make a souffle.." The Doctor looked at Jack innocently.
"For breakfast?"
"Yes well I get cravings."
They ended up eating bagels for breakfast instead.
Amidst the adventures with The Doctor, there was still work to be done, Jack decided it would be best to take a visit to Torchwood to catch up a bit.
