"Hello?!"Called Draco, looking around frantically, eyes wide as he walked along the misty heaths of Scotland.
He spun around, finally realising he was only wearing shorts, and ran off, as fast as he could, into the damp, freezing forests, full of tall dark ferns and embers.
He ran and ran, the sun light vanishing into the mountains and the dark shadows that sunk across the skies , illuminating the atmosphere with small beads of lights.
He ran and ran, breath being scarce, and paused for a deep inhaling of fresh chilling air.
He gazed up, a huge tidal of dark ashen smoke filling the air, He walked further on, stepping over large branches and roots from oaks, crunching against dried and shrivelled leaves And dewy grasses.
He found the open, gazing with wide glassy eyes, staring at the small fire that burned against the wood in the centre of the open field.
On a long old log, was a girl, she had a dark purple jumper on, grey jeans that had mud stains on the knees,a large light coat that had a fluffy hooded edge, and a purple cosey on her head.
She had warm roses cheeks, plump pink lips, and beautiful honey like eyes.
It was Hermione.
His Hermione. She sat, gloves on that exposed her frost bitten red fingers beside her on the long, staring into the fire, and looked up at him, smiling.
He walked over, feeling the heat of the flames against his skin, and sat next to her.
She didn't say anything, but merely looked up at him, twisting her core towards him, and they gazed at each other.Until he saw her change, her face grew sunken and sallow, eye sockets visible, cheeks bones distraught, her skin turning pale and waxy, stretched out against her bones.
Her eyes became tired, and glassy and her lips shrunk, into a thin pale line.
Her hair turned a dark shade of brown, less frizzy, more greasy, oily and dead-looking.
She became more thin, fragile, like a delicate piece of anorexic China. The veins on her skin became more vivid, vibrant, she shivered, her pupils dilating, shrinking, and loss of that beautiful colour that had always charmed him dissolved, now she was a ghost like woman, the ghost like woman he loved, sitting next to him.
Yet she still smiled, her features ever more stretched out against her skull, and she placed a boney hand on his face.
He frowned, tears filling his eyes, he placed his hands on her waist, feeling her hip bones, and pulled her closer to his body, cradling her body against his, like a fragile baby.
"My love.."he whispered, kissing the top of her head.
She looked up to him, and she changed again, as if she was drying, fading away from him, and he could only hold her fraying form.
She smiled, close to death, and kissed his cheek, bringing his face to hers, she rested her forehead against his."My Love.."
And she was gone.
Draco let out a horrifying scream of hurt, the fire died away, as soon as she left, and he sat in the freezing air, holding nothing but a memory close to his body, and an excruciating pain flushed his body like a gate flood, and he squeezed his eyes shut, fisting his hair, and crouching on the misty ground."My love.."
